How many times will the Cowboys sack Eli?

If the Cowboys can't sack Eli at least 4 times against that line, we have a lot to be worried about this season.

As has been pointed out by others, their offensive game plan will likely consist of a lot of three step drops and quick passes to counter our pass rush. If that is what they actually end up doing, then our pass rush will still have had a significant impact by dictating the style of offense they had to run. Actual sacks don't always tell the whole story.

That gameplan doesn't play to OBJ's strengths and if that is the route they do they won't score many points. They have OBJ, Vereen and not much else. I still say the key is stopping the run and getting 3rd and longs. If Coughlin gets PA going OBJ can hurt us but I am great with the Vereen dink and dunk game with Gachkar, Hitchens and Lee at LB. Sacks will turn into TFL and it all comes out in the wash.

It seems like Eli has been hard to sack over the years. He prefers to throw up prayers that his wide outs seem to always grab.

very true. I remember one year that with Ware in his prime and they had bunch of rookies playing OL yet we couldn't get close to Manning as he got rid of the ball so fast.

Until this DL prove it's for real....... I just keep my expectations low.
