So, there are several threads about TV shows. Some of you seem to watch them all. So, I ask. How may different TV shows do you watch each week? I don't mean just random TV shows. I mean ones that you schedule time to watch it each week. Whether it's DVR'ed or you actually watch it when it comes on.

I know some are in season and some aren't. Include all that are still in production. (in season or not)

For me, two.

  • Dexter
  • Game of Thrones

I always watch

NCIS
NCIS:LA
Parenthood

and I watch The Good Wife online since it conflicts with Sunday Night Football now.

I'll go with ones that have been on more than one season, since I give new shows a little time to catch my interest.

Dexter
Boardwalk Empire
Game of Thrones
How I Met Your Mother
Community
The Office
The Soup
Amazing Race

House
SOA
Bones
Dexter
Boardwalk Empire
Walking Dead
Homeland
Chuck - not as much since it was moved to Friday
Game of Thrones

I used to watch all the CSI's but I lost interest in them

Too damn many... which is the byproduct of working from home. I DVR a ton of shows.. I don't watch many comedies, but you can name pretty much any crime drama or dramady on ABC, CBS, NBC, USA and I'm sure it's on my list.

My guilty pleasure are a few Reality shows. I stay away from most of the extreme trashy shows, but I got a few on my DVR list, too.

Jersey Shore, Housewives, etc :D

I have never watched much tv because it seems to me to be an unproductive use of my time and brings me no closer to accomplishing any of my objectives. Still I would watch some NFL football because I enjoy it.

Our tv got fried by a lightening strike a few years ago and we don't have any desire to replace it and I watch the games online now and still have the rest of my time free to do what is important to me.

I don't have anything against tv, it's just that the content just doesn't seem to be what I would want to spend hours watching instead of getting some things done that are more important to me. The thing I liked best about tv was the on-off switch so you could turn it off and savor the peace and quiet.

No Jersey Shore. Even I can't watch that crud. I do watch the RHOA, tho. But the longer the show goes, the more I cringe. Grown women acting the fool drives me insane after awhile and I start FF through the show.

I can't watch any of those shows. It's like a constant bicker-fest. You might as well be scraping your nails across a chalk board.

The one thing I see with some of the Real Housewives series is that they do try to show them working in a career setting or at least pursuing professional efforts.

The problem is that it's not consistent enough to maintain people's attn. They want to see the bickering between the ladies and you have at least one per show who that's all she does.

Raw
Walking Dead
Southpark
Archer
Family Guy
American Dad
Adventure Time
Regular Show

Currently...

House
NCIS
Fringe
Hawaii Five-0
Castle

Sometimes:

Grimm
New Girl
CSI

Breaking Bad
Homeland
American Horror Story
Beavis & Butthead
Walking Dead
Family Guy
UFC Unleashed
Diners Drive-Ins and Dives
Chopped
The Best Thing I Ever Ate
Iron Chef

The DVR rates up there with the weed eater as one of the greatest creations ever. I work out and read a lot, so I never was able to watch much TV. Now I'll watch something during my lunch work out, something while I'm cooking dinner, and maybe something late night, but still have time to read and exercise.

The only DVRed shows I make sure to watch every week are:
The Walking Dead
House
Grey's Anatomy (I know.)
Next Iron Chef/Top Chef
and South Park
