In last, I don’t know... 3 years?

I know this season is only 3 games old but seattle is probably winning record team, as are Rams... Atlanta... unknown.

You can count on one hand how many active QBs have winning records vs winning teams. Why? Because winning teams are usually good.

Dallas' problem has been crapping the bed against teams they should beat, like the Jets last year. Winning teams make hay against bum teams.

don't know and don't care.
this schedule is soft as charmin and we can likely make the playoffs beating 0 teams over .500.
do that then worry about beating good teams when it matters in 4 months.

Right, just get to the playoffs. Amazing how many fans do not understand that concept.

Here’s a hint. I can count them all on one hand !!! An absolute WHOPPING amount!!
Heres a hint. If you take out Brady, Wilson, and Brees. Every QB in the NFL has losing records against winning teams.

Heres another shocker for you. The OP left out Dak's rookie season. Where he beat more than one "winning" team. But when he did that. It was the "team" not him. Gotta love the double standard there.

What i can say. Without a shadow of a doubt. Is there is actually a WHOPPING amount of negative posts from you on this board. Constantly complaining, and whining, and spreading doom and gloom all over the place. I get it. We are cowboys fans. But man you need to relax. Its the 4th week of the regular season. Not week 14. Have a beer.

you got over 35k posts and you have to ask a this question?

Thanks for different perspectives. It helps.

Still. Bad decisions and bad coaching at end of games when the result is hanging in the balance is the difference between 3-0 or 2-1.

how is a "winning" record team defined? Is it their record when we play them? Their record when the season ends? There is a lot of spin to this one but the bottom line is that dallas has been in the playoffs 2 times in the last 5 years with 1 playoff victory....and we need to beat more good teams to get in more...pretty simple

Shouldn't we get accolades for being partially responsible for their losing record?

It's a real silly take.

when we beat Cleveland this week, it will be one more
Will Cleveland finish > 8-8?
Maybe?

You certainly can't measure by a team's record at the time you play them.
In that case, 1 game and you play a team that end's up 1-15 but happens to be 1-0 at the time would be a "winning team"

The final record is all that matters

I am not sure what the purpose or agenda for this post is. but in a silo, any number we get is meaningless. we should examine it across NFL and compare.....and this year is not done yet.

with that said...I put the onus of winning games on coaches. they are responsible for the scheme, game plan, defense, offense and special teams and play calling and game management. players are responsible to execute.

if this is a jab at Dak, then I am not sure if its valid. if expectations are that Dak has to play perfect every game for us to have a chance, then that's just plain wrong. other facets of the game have to play up and pick up their game too and help the team.

wins/losses are coaches reflection more than an individual player alone

We should have won all the games against teams with winning records because we have Dak, but, the defense, the special teams, the coaches, the refs, they all let the Cowboys down. If only the NFL would stop conspiring to make the Boyz lose all those games....pitiful, pitiful I say!
