Only way this guy gets 600-800 yards is if both Zeke who should gain about 1500+ yards and Rod Smith Mr. Utility back are injured.

I do see Tavon Austin taking snaps away from Rod Smith Mr. Utility. Zeke will get spelled by Austin on 3rd down and 1st,.2nd, 3rd and long. Zeke will be the closer because of his innate ability to move the chains to close out games. I just hope that our (recently brain dead) OC does not get too pass happy with Tavon in the line up. In other words, I dont want to automatically see Tavon on 3rd and 3 with Zeke on the bench.

I bet you he gets 1-2 totes per game while Zeke gets his customary 3rd drive off. Let's call that 2 carries a game, 16 games, 4 yards per carry... 130 yards is my guess.

OTOH, I bet a fresh Zeke with a non-Chaz Green offensive line will crack 1600 yards easy.

Let’s hope he’s left his fumbling ways with the Rams, or he won’t be seeing much playing time.

It will be interesting to see how they use Tavon.

On one hand, I get the feeling that the coaching staff really, really liked Dunbar and has been looking for someone to fill that role for a long time.

On the other, I think that Zeke might simply be too valuable as a pass blocker to take out of the lineup on third downs, and he might just keep hogging all the snaps.

It'll be fun to see what happens.
