Ok, Ive got a good question,

First, how much cap money do we have or reported for 2007? If say we have like 24 million or more, and if we do good like some people think, would Dallas be willing to trade away some of their top picks in 2007, to get some picks this year. Kinda like the Commanders have done the several years back in a row.

Before you jump all over me, just think, if we are knocking at the door, and do good in playoffs. Maybe even Super Bowl, our top pick will be 31st or 32nd. Ok, if you trade away one of those picks, # 1 or #2 or #3 next years pick for a high pick this year, the value would be better, and your getting a player that can help you now.

Next, what if, I am not sure about this, kinda wary, but say we make a trade to the Saints for say their top # 2 pick or # 3 pick for Tony Romo, along with signing Bret Farve as a backup if something happens to Bledsoe. You could still trade down one of those high Saints picks, and get an extra 3rd, or so, and get a good young QB. I do think that Drew Henson is coming along, and will be our future Qb, only time will tell though.

The draft I am sure your aware of, the strength of the draft is from the 2nd round to the 3rd round.. Really good players, that should be available, guys like Marcus McNeil-OT, Eric Winston-OT, Jon Scott-OT, Andrew Whitworth-OT, Daryn College-OT, Taitusi Lutui-OG, David Joseph-OG, Kevin Boothe-OG, Charles Spencer-OG-OT, Rod Wright-DT, Gabe Watson-DT-NT, Mathias Kiwanuka-DT_DE, Jeremy Mincey-OLB, A J Nicholson-OLB, Antonio Cromarite CB-S, just to name a few.

none of these are good ideas...

trade away a #1? based on a projection we win the superbowl? Didn't that fail already with Galloway?

I stopped reading at sign Farve to be a backup... lol :lmao:

we should be in the pick acquisition business, not the trade away picks business. That is a bad idea in my opinion.

We need to somehow get another 3 or 4 to bring in more young lineman or defensive players.

Your post loses total credibility with this statement.
