how much credit does Wade really deserve?

from what I am seeing...its the offense and Jason Garrett that are mostly winning these games. The defense has given up gaudy number too many times and special teams has been disappointing. The offense is the best I have ever seen for Dallas. If Wade wins Coach of the Year....he really should just hand it to Jason Garrett.

Our turnovers and sacks have greatly improved over last season. We're not giving up any big plays like last season. And that's despite not having a healthy pair of corners all season. Yet we're 9-1 with essentially the same offense.

The Commanders offensive line kept our pressure down this game compared to other games, but theres no question about it, wade phillips has improved the pressure we put on the QB, and as we know, the secondary has always needeed fixing. Big ups to D-Ware, he was the heart of the D today.

Wade Phillips is 9-1

You said it all sister!! How many times have we heard players say how much more fun their having playing for Wade Phillips? How they are not walking on eggshells, all that stuff. Of course, BP gets credit for helping bring in some special talent, as well as Mr. Ireland & Mr. Jones.

However, this team is winning because of the low-key attitude that has permeated this organization. Romo's grin, Owen's smile, the O'line picking up players all over the field after a TD & becoming part of the celebration. This team has gelled together as tightly as any Cowboy's team I've seen. Offense, Defense, STs all believe they will win, somehow, some way....and a lot of that starts with the Head Coach. I wouldn't want anyone else coaching this team right now, that's for sure.

Can you imagine Romo giving Parcells five so hard that the coach is still wincing in pain five minutes later? :laugh2:
