Ken Hamlin, our Qb of the secondary is not going to play, killah is out
so you are telling me a rookie and someone who hasnt played the position for more than 5 years will be starting for us..

oh lord

It is what it is. Missing Roy isn't going to bring him back. With all the injuries we have had this year its amazing we're 8-5. And I know guys are going to say "Well we have 13 Pro Bowlers...." but those are all the guys getting hurt lol.

I missed Roy w/o the injuries.

Same here.

Roy isn't perfect, but we've somehow been able to hide Keith Davis. You can't tell me we couldn't hide Roy in coverage the same way-- and he'd make our run D that much better. He's perfectly suited for these late season games where it's hard to throw and teams try to get physical and run it on you.

Yeah...it took four safeties to go down for anyone to even realize he was in IR.

Where you been?

We had to lose 80 guys at that position before we missed him. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

Someone found the underline function and thinks it made the post more powerful.

I do miss Roy. I didn't agree with the sentiments about his contributions to the team.

Oh brother-Eli, Toomer, Smith, Boss, and Hixon are going to have a field day on Sun night, as is Justin Tuck against Corey Proctor.:bang2:

Yeah it's like when he was hurt it's OBV that him not in the line up was hurting us. For example Campbell running over Watkins....I'm almost certain Campbell would have slide 20 yards away from RW. =)

I think people were going overboard with their assessments of RW.

no i was in class and i accidently pushed it. and didnt feel like takking it off

it's pretty telling when you don't even notice a guy missing (no negative effects) until TWO OTHER GUYS are injured then you THINK it might be a problem.

I miss the 2002 and 2003 RW31!!!!

No kidding. Seeing Polamalu flying around making plays on Sunday reminded me of what Roy used to do.

It still amazes me how much his performance dropped off. I don't think the team has really missed him all that much and that is saying something with the scrubs they've been lining up back there.

If anything, I think the team has found out that Roy Williams is eating up cap funds, and nothing more. I don't miss him at all.

From a certain point of view, yes.

Williams is an average player, which is better than the guys on the street we may have to resort to if someone else gets hurt.
