'What he's worth' in a free market becomes relevant only when he is a free agent (or has a clear path to free agency, like Bell did).

It's absurd to use that as the standard when he remains under contract for another 2 years. Does it follow, in your view, that we should tear up his contract each time someone else gets a bigger deal?

In any case, he's been paid top 5 RB money since he entered the league, which is where he comfortably ranks.

What is the going rate for the RB contract in the league? It's gonna be about 15 mill a year. Gurley gets 14.375 and that was done a year ago. Bell's deal isn't really comparable as he's several years older than Zeke and Gurley.

So basically 5 years - $34,055,380 I don't know how he has been able to survive on such little pay.
