This is tough for me because I saw what he did in Denver and Buffalo, out of all the candidates who were serious candidates, he was the one who I DID NOT want Jerry to hire. He had Elway and Sharpe in Denver and was 1 game under .500 I think and what he did in Buffalo was medeocre. These 2 franchises had good ownerships and organizations, which in my mind means good support for the HC.
Norv did'nt have good ownerships and organizations to work for in Wash. or Oak, we all know what kinda owner Senile Al is. Because of this I was more willing for him to be HC, to see how he would do with the new Jerry Jones, a more supportive Jerry Jones, like he was with Bill. I thought the connection with Norv and Garrett might create some chemistry in the coaching staff that would hopefully spread, I liked the idea of Rivera as DC also or HC. Another minor reason to get Norv was to get him outta San Fran. I think the 9ers would suffer some without Norv running that offense. I fear that in the next few years that the 49ers might be making a SB run and I don't want them to win 6 SBs before us. But that 49ers team as I see it has alot of potential especially on offense to tear up the NFC in a few years.
That's why I'm so pissed about it, I'll try to tone it down alittle though, I guess if some are happy about it then who am I to bring'em down. Sorry for it, my apologies.
