After the injuries last year to our receivers in pre-season; how much do you think the starters should be employed this years pre-season? I know we have some position battles and pre-season, imo, is usually the determining factor in decision making, but is it worth the risk of injury to our players for final evaluation?

well I definetly don't wanna see Kosier playing in the 4th quarter of the last preseason game like last year.

I can't see our starters playing a whole heck of a lot in pre-season. Romo will probably play the first half of the first game and reduce that to the first quarter after that. He needs to work on his timing with Roy Williams in actual game situations but other than that he shouldn't need a lot of work prior to the regular season.

The same goes for most of the other starters from last year. Roy Williams, Sensabaugh, Olshansky, Brooking, and others who are new to the team will get a few more reps but should not play too much. I'd really like to see us work on getting the depth players up to speed so that if/when injuries happen we aren't wondering if their replacement can play or not.

I would also like to feel a bit more confident that the guys we keep on the final roster are the best players we have and not just being kept because we spent a higher pick on them.

Same as always. Two series to start the game for the first 2 games, 1st half of the third game. First series of the last game, with any starter with more than a hangnail sitting out the game.

Exactly, why would we change it? You can't not get players prepared for the reasoning of being scared of injuries. You going to stop those guys from participating in full contact practices too? I mean come on..
