How much to move up to #2?

Before I say anything, I'm NOT at all on board with this trade and don't want it to happen, but I'm curious what more draft knowledgeable peeps think we have to give up to move from #4 to #2?

Chart says we need to make up 800 points (2600-1800). Average value of a first rounder is 1000 (#16) and average value of a 2nd rounder is 420 (#48).

I assume Cleveland would want the extra value, so could we get away with our #34 this year (560) and our #67 (255) for a total of 815 or would it take next year's 1st rounder?

PS - in reviewing the chart, I realized we have what's normally the 2nd pick in the 2nd round. Thanks Brady!

There was talk that it would cost us next year's 1st round pick (plus our #4 of course). However, if Philly is willing to give Cleveland what they offered Tennessee, we don't have a chance.

Our 1st three pick this year would do it.
I suspect Cleveland would prefer to trade down a bit further and get more though...unless they love either Tunsil or Ramsey.

Generally, next year's 1st is worth about the same as a mid 2nd rounder this year give or take a 100 or so. It would not be enough, in other words.
That talk that it would only be next year's pick was bogus from the get-go. Broddus even clarified that it was at the very least that much.

I don't think there is anyone in the draft worth trading up to #2 for. I think the best value is to stay put.

I hope other teams offer the damn kitchen sink, which makes it impossible for us to trade up..... Stupidity at its finest!

I'm with everyone on the "No to #2" bandwagon. We have too many needs and there is not enough FA activity to make up for giving up 3-4 draft picks this/next year to gamble on one position. Let's grab a dev QB in 4th round, make some smart picks and load up on defense, grab a promising WR, a change of pace RB and stock this team for a solid future.

Or trade down some slots, grab a couple picks and get a spectacular RB, solid pash rusher and use the rest of our picks to hope we get another couple starters/good contributors out of it.

If a 3rd gets us Wentz and keeps Philly from getting him then I'm all for it.

Whatever it costs is going to be too much. I'd rather we sit at #4 and pick the best available there.
