How much under the cap are we?

Just curious? Heard it was a little less than 200K as of right now. Not sure why some are freaking out that we haven't signed anyone. We have no money right now.

Current question marks:
Will Romo be extended?
Will Spencer get a longer term deal? Franchising him for 10.6 million may not be the final option for him.
Why is Free still on the team?

Side note for **** and giggles. (I'm not scared of the team by any means), but the Eagles have made a ton of moves from what I've seen so far: Patrick Chung, Jason Phillips, Isaac Sopoaga, James Casey to name a few. They are also looking at Cary Williams and Victor Butler apparently. I know... Dream team.

yes your right, my bad. Thats just how said it is that I knew it was 177 but normal NFL teams it is usually in the millions.

Since he is a June 1st cap we get the 600k savings now and another 1.4 on June 1st. Next year spears will be a 1.4 million cap hit which is still better than his 3.7 million cap hit in 2014

Just depends on how much his first year is worth and signing bonus.
5 year 45 million with a 25 million signing bonus

First year salary of 1million 5 million prorated will be a 6 million cap hit and save us alittle over 4 million

Spotrac has us at 3.1m under. I know their reputation isn't the best, but they are thorough. 1.4m of that is Spears pro-ration that won't come until June 2nd. I think the other 1m is from Doug Free's contract. They say that when Dallas re-did his deal last year they added 2 more years to his contract to spread out the cap hit. If that is the case they should be 1.7m under, if not then they are 700+K under.
