He'll end up essentially being an extra high 2024 pick, probably a 1st rd value.

That also said the exact same stuff about Vaughn for the offense too.

However , I was way more excited about Overshowns potential than Vaughans and was genuinely saddened to hear about his injury.

I think overshown translates better to the NFL than Deuce. Overshown the same size as the old Eagles LB William Thomas who was a pro bowler….definitely doable.

I was super excited about Overshown. He could fit quite nicely with this style of defense. The way he was injured scares me a little. Hope that's a fluke and not a sign of things to come. It would have been great to have him on the field!

Unfortunately Injuries happens in the NFL.
All around the NFL (ditto with CB Trevor Diggs)

Best bet is to always have a Plan B. ala Markis Bell, Rashaad Evans
Only it gets so super-scary, if we were to lose any more LBs from this group.

My only concern with Overshown is his ACL recovery.
Some players in the NFL recover quickly, however some take slower time in trying to get back into form
(ala Terrence Steele) While some are just simply never the same player again.
It varies.

Speaking of ACL recovery, we'll have to see if Diggs falls into any of these categories.
Always have a Plan B.

We can think of him as an additional selection in the 2024 draft.

If his "true" recovery is like most, 2025 draft may be more realistic.

Bell is doing a great job, but he's a safety playing LB. Could Overshown end up being a superstar? Can't help but wonder what a difference he would have made on defense this year.

would have been nice. right now the 2023 draft class is below average at best. not blaming overshown for injury, but he is not playing, so this draft class is not contributing much

More concerned with Overshown's rehab n recovery to tell the truth. I hope O and Stephens Jr. are dominating their ACL workouts, and getting bigger n stronger for next season.

Dallas is fine at LB. I'm looking for guys like Clark, Bell and Thomas to keep getting better, so Overshown can integrate into a group of young players that play at a high level.
