How often NFL offenses went three and out last season

Rockport, you’re easily the most oblivious regular on this board. You clearly don’t know nearly as much about football as you pretend, and every time someone brings up a basic stat like red-zone TD efficiency you have a meltdown.

And it’s pretty funny that you call everyone a “hater” when you’re probably the biggest hater here at the zone. You don’t hate the Cowboys’ opponents nearly as much as you hate other posters for disagreeing with you.

At this point I think you’re just better off on everyone’s ignore list.

I don’t think red zone efficiency was the main issue. We scored plenty of points. It’s the consistency from half to half and game to game.

We was 16th in the league in scoring TD in the redzone. We kicked too many FG in the red zone

I understand that, and yes I’d prefer if we did better in the red zone. But we still scored plenty of points. I don’t think it matters as much if you’re scoring from 10 yards out or from more than 20.

The offense wasn't some unstoppable juggernaut. It routinely took weeks off.

But it still was ranked top 4 at worst. There is no such thing as a bad offense if they're ranked in the top 10, let alone being ranked 4th or better.

The point is we settled for 3 way to much. Just one TD where we kicked a FG was the difference in 4 games, but it also eats more clock, changes what teams do against you. Our defense was terrible last year and that was biggest issue but as for the offense we have got to fix the red zone. Way too many points missed
