The tandem of Owens, Glenn, and Crayton leads the league in touchdowns through 9 games, is fifth in total yards, and fifth in receptions. It should be noted that the Colts' top three is really a top two, with Stokely missing most of the season due to injury.

Individual Breakdown
Owens 49 of 92 (53%)
654 yards
35 first downs (38%)
yards per catch 13.3
yards per targeted 7.1
YAC per catch 4.4 yards
TD 7
drops 7
penalties 6

Glenn 36 of 55 (66%)
456 yards
21 first downs (38.2%)
yards per catch 12.7
yards per targeted 8.3
YAC per catch 3.1 yards
TD 4
drops 1
penalties 2

Crayton 22 of 27 (82%)
363 yards
18 first downs (66.7%)
yards per catch 16.5
yards per targeted 13.4
YAC per catch 4.7 yards
TD 3
drops 0
penalties 2

Crayton's "22 of 27" means he's caught 22 (82%) of the passes targeted for him. The 5 incompletions weren't drops, but bad throws or good throws that were well defended. His 66.7% first downs is the percentage of passes thrown to him that result in first downs. Both of those numbers lead the NFL among WR's with 3+ TD's.

He also leads the team in yards per catch, yards per times targeted, and YAC (yards after catch) per reception.

Owens' 7 TD's tie him for the league lead.

If Romo started the year we would lead in ALL of the above stats.... Yardage for sure.

I think the TE position should be factored into this equation as well.

None of the teams at the top of this list have very good TE's - other than Dallas.

Adding Witten's 36 catches for 425 yards makes the production look even better.

We gain 13.4 yards every time the ball is thrown Crayton's way. That is a very dependable third receiver. He can think Romo's accuracy for some of that, but keep in mind the same guy is throwing to all the receivers. Crayton already has matched or surpassed the TD production of some of the #2 receivers listed above. He gets 2 first downs per game, while Keyshawn, who has a reputation as a chain-mover, gets only 3 per game with a lot more playing time.

Add to that the 18 first downs on 22 catches, and Crayton is about as dependable to move the chains as Crazy Cowboy is to be the first one to reply to a new thread. :D
