We're inside the one yardline three consecutive times. Beat your man in front of you for a freaking yard.

I wanted the QB sneak on 3rd and 4th down but come on. It's a ****ing yard away and they got a better push.

waaaaaaa

whatever.

you have one of the best short yardage backs in the league you run the hell out of that play and you beat them on execution. Had we scored folks would be screaming "hell ya! drive it down their throats."

Here is a play where you let your players win the battles... and we lost. Players are the ones who should be embarrased, not the staff that believed in them

The Einstein hindsight that goes on here is comedic.

Garrett won't be the coach next year. I have faith that Jerry's smarter than that, even if some of you don't.

Better put your faith in the good Lord... Because after Jerruh hires Garrett, you'll be saying "Oh Good Lord!"

Dallas’ first good scoring chance ended with a field goal that put it ahead 3-0. On the next deep drive, Marion Barber(notes) got to the 1 on first down, then was stuffed on three straight runs. The Cowboys moved him from fullback to halfback on the fourth-down play, but it didn’t fool anyone.

“He’s not getting paid to block,” said linebacker Tim Dobbins(notes), who was in on all three tackles from the 1. “We knew it was going to be a flip or a dive. I don’t even know what they were thinking. I don’t know if they watch film or what.”

Goal line is really just about pushing people out of the way and getting that 1 or 2 yards. It really shouldn't matter if you walk up to the LOS and tell them the play if your o line ain't a bunch of overrated ******* and you have a semi decent HB

I agree although I think in this case it was the defense telling the offense what the play was before the snap....three times in a row. :lmao2:

Doesn't matter. You can know the teams opposing play. Most good linebackers in this league do. You can read a teams offense. But you still have to stop them.

Pretty much. You still have to execute. The Chargers did.

This is the exact reason I am so sick of the On the Job Training for our OC. There really needs to be an OC School.

How many times do we have to hear about how other players KNOW what is coming before people around here will quit defending the guy?

The brass has said repeatedly about how Felix is "such a weapon" and we "need to get him the ball", yet the most that he has EVER had the ball was 10 times and today was the second time he has carried it 10 times.

When a person is "such a weapon" he needs to be on the field more.....if you really "need to get him the ball", he REALLY needs to be on the field.

Chris Johnson is SO lucky he's not on this team....he would have NO chance of getting the record that I think he'll get this year.

The Ivy League wonder out-thinks himself all the time.

He had two great series that he called today.....I'll give him that. Those were the ones that went for over 7 minutes and consisted of Felix and TC getting in there. MBIII had a couple of good runs, but he still averaged less than 4 YPC again, while our other RB's averages over 5 on fewer carries and there is nothing to say that they couldn't keep doing it...except for JG tking them out while they were hot.

Can MBIII jump at all? Try going over the top for once.....quite pulling linemen when we are down there as well....this is COACHING people!

Someone remind Garret that this isn't the team of the 90s. When the opponents know what play we are going to run, they CAN stop us. This team needs all the help it can get because it can't out execute other good defenses.

I have to agree with you, but at some point ... a fake to Barber and a pitch to Felix, or a fake to Barber and Romo roll out with the option of running or passing would be mixing it up and attempting to catch the Chargers off-guard.

I didn't have any problem with going for it on 4th down.

Running into the teeth of the defense every time did not seem wise.

i don't disagree - I think Felix wide would out run everything - but the statement the team was trying to make was "we can run over you" - we didn't and that changed the game

This is where Im hanging my hat. I can't believe for a second that JJ wants JG to be the next head coach. I just don't see it.

The Red Head Jesus scheme puts up lots of yards but leaves all KINDS of points on the field over and over.

This offense just doesn't make teams pay, period.

I do know one thing, if Jerry names Tecmo the HC in the offseason there are going to be alot of pissed off fans saying "what the ****"!!!!!

It will not be pretty.
