How realistic is the possibility of Doug Free moving inside?

How realistic is the possibility of Doug Free moving inside if thats how the draft shapes up for us??

I remember Houck talkin about it last week in an interview. Was he just hyping him up or is this something that can be done??

If a top ranked OT happens to fall to us and the value is too good to pass on will the cowboys select the OT and move free inside?

unless Woicek transforms him in the weight room the next few months I don't see it: he isn't strong enough. I want a MAULER. A true road grader like Frisco and the Ravens employ. Sign Nicks and Grubbs and be done with it. Seriously, I'd sign them both, draft a DT in the first round, Jones or Brewster at Center in the second and then go CB, ILB and Safety the next 5 rounds.

He's either going to be a Right Tackle, or a backup Right Tackle.

I don't believe he mentioned it. He was asked and he gave the typical line that you always try to get the best five out there. A lot of guys just assumed that meant he might be moved to guard.

Free can be a very solid LT. He played well before and I think his game will be much improved next season with a return to his more natural position.

He is not a G or C....no way.

Tackle play not that bad by the 'Boys last year. Guards so-so, but Costa seemed to get pushed back every pass. Also twists and stunts seemed to get free rushers with regularity.

Don't now how accurate it is but I've heard Free is very strong except he has 'weak' hands.

Yes it's truly a shame. Dude was a pro bowl corner just a couple of years ago.

Free would be fine at guard, the problem is salary cap.

At $6.5 million a year he'd be one of the highest paid guards in the NFL.

Even you don't believe that (or if you do, there's no hope for you)... barring injury, Doug Free will be our starting RT in 2012, a position he played well enough in 2010 to convince the Boys he could be a viable LT...
