I have a trip booked Friday for Tampa to see the Cowboys vs the Bucs.

A friend may be able to acquire both Field and Press passes for us.

I'll be getting out of the winter weather to warm and sunny Florida for a few days.

And this trip is costing me almost nothing out of pocket.

And at this point, I couldn't care less about it.

That's where this team has me right now.

Never give up!!! That still sounds like a helluva good time to me. I would do it in a heartbeat.

It really is.

Flight's paid for.

Ticket for free. And possibly both field and press passes.

Staying with a friend so there's no hotels costs either.

But with the way this team is playing, it's tough to get truly excited about it.

Hopefully I'll be more excited about it as the week goes along.

If you find the Cowboys chief scout ask for a decent CB from the draft this year.

Hey at the very least, you might get close enough to voice your frustration to the source of your frustration.

Yell at them. :) It might not matter, but it might feel better than doing it in here.

I've gotta admit the Bucs game doesn't excite me very much right now. I do look forward to the Giants/Eagles games. I want to see how this defense performs in a rematch. That will tell me just how far away they are. I know they need rebuilding regardless, but if they continue to give up 30+ points then it's going to be a long road back.

In today's economy, a chance to see a solid NFL game shouldn't be taken for granted. Now, if I had to pay for my own luggage, I would be a bear....

It may not be the ideal situation but it's an opportunity to enjoy the game and live in the moment. Now go out there and cheer like a Protestant! ;)
