How serious is it? How long will he be out? I was unable to watch the game.

Leg amputation tomorrow was reported.

2-3 weeks, different spot then the previous injury.

What difference does it make. Like Felix, he can't stay on the damn field. :bang2:

Could be career threatening they said.

Can't make light of Miles being out. Look at the differnce of pass effectiveness and open receivers before he went out and then after. Much tougher throws for Romo and tighter coverage. having MIles out is a huge blow to this team.

Dallas Cowboys' Miles Austin to get MRI on strained hamstring -

I have had a pulled hamstring while playing semi-pro. The only true cure is about 2 months rest. I tried to come back, it kept popping. Feels good after a few days, you think you're healthy, you're not.

Him being definitely is a blow but at least Robinson softens it greatly.

I didn't really notice a dropoff, but it seemed we were content to run the ball, so who knows?

Gotta say. He is always injured and it's always the same injury. He is the Nelson Cruz of football.

Austin is (or at least was) a big play receiver. We'll miss his RAC/YAC if he's out for a long period of time. Of course, we've already had to play without him quite a bit this year. As I've posted before, he just can't stay on the field. He and Felix are bitten.

If you look at Romo's comp % before and after I think you would see a dramatic change. He started like 8-10 I believe and ended 19-31. He had to throw a few balls away.

He's been nearly non-existent since the 9ers game.
I was reluctant to say it, but...this. I don't know if the hammy has been bugging him all along, but something isn't quite right. If we ever get Romo, Miles and Murray truly healthy at the same time, the offense will be a lot more successful.
