How Short is Romo's Leash

I'd like to think that Romo is Dallas' version of Tom Brady and Bledsoe's only re-appearance would be the result of injury but if Romo were to come out today and throw 3 interceptions or fall behind 28-0 in the 1st half, would Bledsoe be back behind center in the 2nd half?

It's just a curiosty question but Parcells qualifying statement about things looking good on offense "at least temporarily" after last Sunday's game does make you wonder where his head is at and what length Romo's leash is at this point.

My only thoughts are that Bill Parcells is doing a masterful job of staying in Romo's head by not appearing too "satisfied" in the eyes of the press. We have no idea what he says to Romo behind closed doors. I'm sure Bill is simply working his magic to keep Romo's head from exploding due to growth beyond normal proportions.

He needs to keep the job the rest of the way. I'm not buying to the Romo hype just yet, but the only way we'll know definitively about the guy is if he's given the rest of the season to establish himself as a true #1.

If Parcells removes Romo due to poor play, our team's efforts to reach the playoffs will significantly diminish. Team doesn't believe in Bledsoe and if Romo shows he can't get the job done it guarantees a QB in next year's draft. Think Parcells goes with Romo almost through thick and thin. Kid's got a lot of rope. Heck even if he throws some int's we know Bledsoe also throws int's. No change at QB; we are with Romo all the way -- got no where to go.

I agree that if Romo is pulled for other than injury reasons, then BP is raising the white flag on the season.

Romo is the starter unless injured.

BP made a choice, and there is no going back. There is no i made a wrong choice. Its Romo or fail.

Well we aren't going anywhere with Bledsoe so Romo deserves to play... good... bad or indifferent. If he can't play we'll need a new QB anyway.
