how do you guys think we should play him?

i say we Have Henry Follow him all over the field, with Hamlin with the help over the top.

Henry is big and physical, he can shove moss around and disrupt him at the line, Henry is 1 of the bests at defending short routes and jumps them perfectly, so thats why i think he should cover Moss, and if moss gets behind him due to aggressive play Hamlin will be right there, have your 2 Ball Hawks on him, Maybe Watkins can help out too, with his Size.

Then we should let Newman Shadow Stallworth he did great vs Evans and anyone over there

and get pressure on Brady, duh

what do you guys think?

If Henry will play then put him on Moss tight, have Watkins 15 yards off to protect the deep middle but have him only watching Moss, our front seven + Roy can handle their depleted RB corps.

Double Moss all night and put Newman and Reeves on Welker and Stallworth as we need.

don't let him catch anything deep. That means giving up some short ones then racking him up.

Comedy this early? It's 8:42AM here in Anchorage. I just sat down at my desk. We have some GORGEOUS sunshine out my window. Everything is juuuust coming up over the mountains. Wow.

Last thing I need is Monster Energy Drink spraying from my nose.

Thanks!

I am a man and box believer.

I think you play zone as a base with Moss being manned up. I don't know who is the best choice to man up on Moss because TNew and Henry both have health concerns.

It would mean lots of nickel type defense but we should be in that formation a majority of the time anyway against the Pats offense.

Completely differently than in the past. Because nothing has worked yet.

Some crazy-talk: what about Reeves with a cushion and some help in the RZ? Reeves is our fastest CB, maintains good position, and doesn't get beat deep. He gives up catches by not getting his head around, but at least he's in position. Use the cushion to tempt the Pats to throw short where we can maybe lay him out with the safeties. Moss will get his catches and yards, but hopefully not many big plays, and the other CB matchups would favor the Cowboys.

Except for one play we kept him in check the last time we played him.

No matter WHAT we do the Patriots are going to score on us. Teams play with 8 defensive backs to stop Tom Brady and then the Patriots run all over the opposing team. I know its going to be diffucult to stomach but if we have a chance of winning we are going to need to control TOP and to do that we need to get turnovers or get some pressure. Look at the way the bills played last night; they put no pressure on the boys lineman and we still nibbled at them. That is basically how most teams play against the pats and they still win.

We need to be agressive. Easier said than done of course I know that

You defend Moss by not letting Welker have a good game. Too often teams will start off taking moss out, only to let Welker run around in the slot and loosen them up. They then focus on Welker and Moss blows by someone.
