did anybody else see romo standing by t.o. on the sideline
the other nite. he was clearly more than 3 or 4 inches shorter
than t. o.
may have been the camera angle , but i don't think he is as listed
6-2.
may have been why he went undrafted , thoughts anybody

I'd be surprised if he wasn't 6'2". It's more commone to see college players dimensions tweaked to promote draft status. Other than trade bait, I can't think of a reason to do so in the pros.

7-5, shoots lightning from his eyeballs, and his arse.

He does seem short, though. Probably just perception.

6'2" exactly.

By the way, for those that think fast 40 times = mobile QB...

Romo ran a 5.01.

How fast you run in a straight line has NOTHING to do with how mobile you are.

250 lb Dave Ragone ran a faster 40 then Romo.

Freakin' Kliff Kingsbury ran a faster 40 time then Romo.

CHRIS SIMMS ran a faster 40 time then Romo.

Next time someone puts more stock into 40 times then you should, I'm gonna reach through my monitor and poke you in the eye.

Yeah, about a 2" hair.

He's 6'2".

I'm just going by what some of the reporters have said in previous tc's...

You can usually subtract an inch or two from QB's/skill position players...

It doesn't really matter, if he can play... Brees is 6'... Staubach was 6'2" although he looks taller with his high hair... Favre is 6'2"...

He supposedly had the 2nd fastest shuttle. I'd take that any day over a straight line 40 for someone in his position.

Again, it was his OFFICIAL combine measurement. Those are exact. They don't fluff those up like they do in College.

Those are real good short shuttle and 3 cone times. That's a much better indicator of mobility.

:hammer:

He had a 4.2 shuttle time. And a 7.11 3-cone time (also more of an indicator of mobility in a QB).

He had the 5th fastest shuttle time (at the combine) and the 3rd fastest 3 cone time.

At the combine they measure them barefoot and make sure they don't cheat up. He's a legit 6-2, but I agree he looks small for some reason on the football field.

Well they have a slow track at the combine, so it wouldn't be a reach to say they have a low tape either... ;)
