No it was all about money and TV rights... but whoever wrote that write-up should be shot.

Except that the song wasn't stolen. It was purchased. Money exchanged hands. That doesn't happen in theft.

Yet again, you are wrong. Clint Murchison purchased the song from Barnee Breeskin, who composed it. He knew who he was selling the rights to and why he wanted to buy it.

There were no false pretenses.
