How the Cowboys BEAT the Patriots

I know the Bills are this week, but I CAN look ahead to the next game!

First, Dallas has to trust their offense. What the defense needs to do is concede the deep ball, and mid range slants, etc. In doing so, they can stack the line with run blitzes and passing blitzes. Really wear down the Pats O-line and running game, even get Brady a little shaky and tentative.

The Pats will score early, but that's fine, Dallas will match their quick TD's with long, sustained TD drives, wear down the Pat's D, beat them up a little bit in the process. The only way the Pats will score is with the deep and mid-range throws, a lower percentage pass. Dallas will eventually start to get those interceptions because of those longer throws, and get ahead on the scoreboard by putting points on the board every single time!! The pass rush for Big D has to step up big time, but I think the Patriots O-line will eventually break.

For starters... I'm not too crazy about the whole "concede the deep ball" strategy. Howzabout Dallas actually makes New England pass underneath and run to score any points? Call me crazy - but I really think I like that tack a whole lot better.

What, you don't like the idea of them scoring early while we work to establish the long, sustained drives?

Hey, they're going to score on their share of deep balls. If we just concede that we can't stop it, we can then focus on stopping all the short stuff, instead. Eventually, they'll tire from all the running and from laughing so hard at the game plan.

If were going to win the game or any team for that matter this season its going to be in a 38-35 type of game. With that being said, we need to shut down Moss and Benjamin Watson. Let the other players beat us. I would say put Newman on Moss the entire day and see who wins that match-up. If its Moss so be it. You cant come in cowardly and play like theyre not beatable.

I hope we beat the Bills tom night, b/c I do NOT think we have a chance to beat the Pats.

Not saying we should "crown their tails", but the Pats ARE for real, cheaters or no.

So are the Cowboys. We can easily win this game if we just win the turnover battle.

I haven't watched more than a few minutes and the highlights from the Pats games, but I don't really understand what all the hubub is about. I've been more impressed with Indy this year, given whom they've played and that they've been banged up.

Dallas has to force them into low percentage throws. They'll slip up eventually.

Actually i like the approach G. Williams took in containing Detroit yesterday. Let them catch the 1-5 yd stuff and tackle them and stop the run.

Contain Moss.
Get some sort of pass rush against Brady.
ZERO turnovers on offense and create 1 or 2 on D.

Sorry but I'm not looking past Buffalo to the NE game yet.

I'll worry about NE tomorrow.

I'm right there with ya. It's a game to game league now. Our defense hasn't exactly proven to be where it needs to be yet so every team is a threat.

How Dallas can beat New England? The same way we beat Indy last year. Stay Aggressive and ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK! I'll say it again, ATTACK!

Yeah the one thing Parcells never realised was he drafted guys who were play makers coming out of college.

If we go into a shell vs New England we will get beat. Playoff football is the time to start getting a little more conservative. Oct 14th isn't.

If we play our kind of game then its going to be a good one next Sunday!!!!

Wash usually has some of the best tackling CBs in the league. They're fun to watch, if you can get past the uniforms.

Not sure how you could come to that conclusion after watching our 4 games.

TunaFan33 is scared of his own shadow! :laugh2: He's always proclaiming doom and gloom for every game. The Cowboys could be playing the University of The Blind's football team and he would have doubts...
