If Free's injury causes Parnell to start next week, Romo won't even need to pass. They can't just run the ball on all plays. ;)

That was silly. I had to wait for the replay to confirm what I thought I had just seen. And Kevin Williams is a big powerful man in his own right.

We still need Free healthy as Parnell is not quite as reliable.

Yup, great triple team block there by Martin, Clutts and Parnell. Parnell did a fantastic job of falling on the guy though.

I heard Free was in at the end of the game so I don't think his injury was too serious.

Supposedly he's in a walking boot today. The team doesn't seem too worried, but it's also possible he took the victory hitch with the hobbled leg just because he could manage that, but not manage an actual play in a live series.

According to that play Parnell is the best RT in football. Bench free!!!!

I hope if Parnell is forced into action he does the job. Made a very nice play on that block but fact is he has yet to beat our Free. He has been given the opportunity and has yet to do so.

It looks to me like Parnell initially didn't do well, allowing Williams to deliver a blow and bend him back, but when Martin gave Williams a nudge it allowed Parnell to hop up out of his stance and drive Williams, with an assist from Clutts.

Great example of team blocking. Love how the push by that side of the line traps about half of Seattle's defense to allow Murray to cut back.

looks more like he stood parnell up and clutts took him out. now i'm sure there was a double team called there and parnell was suppose to stay inside on the block but clutts is the one who put him on the ground

Exactly. Parnell even looked like he got lifted off of his feet there for a second. If Martin doesn't move into the area, it changes how that looks completely.

Really? Maybe you should watch it again.

Because you can see Parnell's continued contact and Williams going to the ground from his force after Clutts had let go.

Free may not be as good as a blocker, but I bet Parnell doesn't have the ability to fly through the are like Free can.

that was my thought as well as Parnell actually leaves his feet (not good). You have to wonder what is going on upstairs for Parnell because he is monsterous guy with great OL coach and yet he still doesn't seem to take that next step.

I just rewatched that play 5x thanks to NFLN's NFL Replay. William swam past his engagement with Parnell but would not have been in position to make the play since he swam out and Demarco cut in. That said, it looks as though the pancake doesn't happen if Clutts doesn't redirect Williams. Bottom line, at no point did Parnell look off balance and Clutts only redirected. The "drive" was all Parnell. He was clearly driving Williams to oblivion. The Williams swim was a desperation move to try and stop the acute bleed aka Parnell.

I don't know who Tyler Clutts is, but he's becoming an All-Pro right before our very own eyes. He's our new Moose Johnston. Dude was straight up destroying people yesterday.
