Home field advantage is around 3 points. So the odds makers have Dallas as EVEN with Pittsburgh on a neutral field.

7-1 vs. 4-4 with an injured quarterback.

How is this an EVEN line?

Makes 0 sense to me.

On a side note, is Dallas now 7-1 against the line for the season? When are these odd makers going to learn?

Pittsburgh must be getting at least 5 or 6 points for home field. I read a few articles about it, apparently money like to lay heavy on the Steelers at home no matter what.

Pittsburgh a different team at home. 3-1 with their lone loss against New England without Roethlisberger. This is gonna be a tough game.
The problem for the Steelers is the same problem for every team we play. Unless we turn the ball over, you can't stop our running game, you can't get on the field and no matter how high powered your offense is, it can't operate at top level when its playing from behind. Plus, if your offense is really good, you just score fast and keep your defense on the field longer. Our style is a horrible matchup for every team in the league.

Big Ben is not a dink and dunk QB, but that is what we will force him to be.

Pittsburghs D is rated 21 with 375 yards allowed per game.

Who knows? You'd think that doing it for a living might give them an edge but they're guessing just like everyone else.

Whatever happens, it should be a learning tool to them, just like it is to us. Let's just hope they're wrong yet again. ;)

We've controlled all but 6 quarters this season - last 3 quarters against NY, middle two quarters against Eagles and first quarter against the 49ers. The other 26 quarters we have controlled or forced our opponents to alter their game plans. Thats over 80% of all the games, we have dictated to our opponents how they have to play. Hard to beat us when that happens.

This is about getting people to bet the way they want and not who they think is better.

Roll back your egos, this isn't a lack of respect, it is a way to have equal bets on both sides and they live off the juice.

It's essentially a pick'em game. Home team gets 3 points. I think it's a fair line.

That team has been in a slump for a couple of weeks and I bet they will ready to explode on Dallas next week. Two things worry me about the Steelers.

Bell against our DL
Brown against our DBs

Steelers at home are TOUGH especially after getting dismantled the week before and playing like absolute TRASH. Expect to see them at their best. Not surprised by the line at all.
Id echo this. Ben is back and almost pulled out a comeback after down 21-0.

Steelers much better than 4-4 with Ben. Good teams play best usually after a loss.

Ravens game is a tough rivalry game for them and it was a bigger game for Ravens to get back to .500 which will represent a tougher game for us in a couple weeks than expected.

I like the Steelers this week. I can't see them dropping below .500 with Ben. I think it's a game we had penciled in as a potential loss before the season even with Romo.

The game is gonna come down to our run game against their passing game. The Steelers suck against the run. Our DB's need to show up on Sunday. If we can limit them in the passing game, we should have a double digit win.

Yeah I agree with this. While everyone was crowing about some of the earlier games this season, this is the one I had circled on my calendar. It's going to be a dogfight but, when the clock strikes zero, we will have outscored them by 10.

Especially against the Cowboys. This game will be crazy tuff. But I think Dak can get it for us.

Gonna take more than Ben to stop our offense from controlling the clock.
