How the RPO can help pass blocking

It was inexplicable why Linehan did not call more RPOs. Especially since the OL was struggling in pass pro. Because OL fires out at DL on an RPO and delivers a blow, the DL does not get an immediate push forward. It creates a good pocket. At least for the first second or two. Not to mention that it sucks the LBs forward and creates more passing lanes. When the standard passing game is struggling, this is the answer. Any boob can see that. But not Linehan.

I'm not sure Linehan has free reign. Jerry has this set up in a way that makes it very hard to point fingers at one person. The offense is nobody's. Linehan has a say.....Garret has a say.......SJ has a say........JJ has a say......... the 12 year old QB coach has a say.......... Dak probably has some input........so when something goes wrong, your guess is as good as anyone in regard to who screwed up. Its a colossal mess.

last year the buzz out of camp was lining up Beasley and Switzer in the slot...at the same time....and how much pressure that would put on the defense.....never happened.

this years buzz....Dak friendly and more RPO....we've seen it in only snippets......starting to think that was it.

what is it about camp buzz....never seems to materialize.

i think stephen does not want to risk the qb when the team is not good enough.
