How to be a winner: January 16th 1972

Ahhhhhh yes.
I was 15 and bled Cowboys
Still do except I'm running out of blood......Jerry!

The thing about football today is the goals of the players. With the money at stake and the fame and opportunity that comes along with a big on line presence winning is secondary. The day Zeke signed his big contract he had accomplished all of his goals. The day D Flaw signed his big contract he had accomplished all of his goals. The jury is still out on Dak but from what I can see he is getting worse not better.

While I agree with the business mindset in terms of players priorities, here is a quote from Joe Burrows when asked about the Super Bowl window for the Bengals: "The window is my whole career...Our window is always open."

When was the last time we heard such confidence from our supposed franchise QB?

Jerry & Co. has created a culture in Dallas wherein players are given huge contracts only to watch said player begin playing like crap after getting paid (ex. Romo, Jaylon Smith, DLaw, Zeke, Gallup, Dak, etc.).....and that cycle keeps happening over and over again.

That was the day he signed his contract. Have you noticed he hasn't talked about it since? Getting paid was always his #1 priority.
