Ok, we all know Bledsoe is slow but has the best arm in football. We also know he is making a pittance in QB terms. Let's use what we are saving by not having to pay a Manning-type salary to Drew to make a play for extra o-linemen and TO during the off-season.

Getting TO and some big beef in front of Drew would make everyone forget Drew is slow a-foot.

I hope no team picks up TO and sends a message just like Lawrence Phillips. The team is greater than individual talent. Say no to TO in Dallas.

A better OL will be MORE than enough, Thank You

Say all you want about Parcells' bone-headed, conservative game plan. But with a GOOD OL, he'll easily be able to execute his ball control philosophies.

I am with you. And not because I am a Commanders Fan.

I feel that TO doesnt appreciate the fact that it is a privilege to play in the NFL. He doesnt deserve another chance in my book.

3 strikes and all. And before any of you ask why 3: SF, PHI, and BAL.

As far as "The best arm in football", thats debatable.

OMG, I thought this was a stupid post before I opened it, being as the subjext was #11. But no, I was proved wrong. This is the most idiotic, ignorant post I have seen this week-end.

Lets save TO some time and ship Ware, Spears, Ellis, Glover, Canty, Ferguson, Newman, Willimas and Burnett on D, along with Jones, Barber, Glenn, Witten and Key to other teams. These guys wont win crap here with TO, so lets break it up and make TO the only player worth more then 4 dollars.

You guys are so damn stupid thinking TO will do anything but rip this team apart at the seams. No TO. Dont even broach this subject again.

Best arm in football? I don't think so. Jeff George has a better arm than Bledsoe and he is not playing.

Imagine what Drew's numbers would be if he had a sidekick like Marvin Harrison (who has caught 40% of P. Manning's TDs, a big reason P. Manning just passed Drew in all-time TDs in only 70% as many games).

Difference is Manning helps his line out he makes quick decessions

Manning has a quicker release and not that slow wind up Bledsoe has

Manning has great footwork moves around in the pocket well (no I am not talking about running). Yet we see Bledsoe and his sloppy footwork

Manning will drop it of to a back without making him leap 10' high every time to try and catch it

Manning will throw it away

Manning has great touch

Bledsoe has a strong arm for long passes

umm I am tired of hearing how it is always the Oline's fault for Drew every where he goes same dam thing oline. Yes the oline does not help but Bledsoe also does not do things to help out his oline. When Drew is back there they know they have to be perfect every time one minor screw up and it is over.

Ummm...actually, the OL wasn't the point of talk-it's that invaluable Left Tackle position.

Yes, even Trent Green is a heck of alot better than our guy. However-having seen earlier Chiefs games sans Roaf, Green started looking like the TG of 01(and even as bad as Bledsoe) with his decision making, footwork, et al.

Watch out Roo! You are going to be assaulted with a large amount of stats to try to tell you what you see IN THE GAME is not real. Trust the numbers dude. Just trust the numbers....

You may be tired of hearing it, but only a moron could look at the problems with the O Line and not concede that to some degree the line is part of the problem. You may not like to see the numbers pre Flozell, but they are quite telling. While I don't think anyone would disagree that Bledsoe has made some stupid mistakes, not allowing for the poor play of the line is just as stupid.

As much as I hate how Manning puts on a 10 minute play before every snap of the ball your comment is absurd. Manning is much faster in his throws and decision making. He feels presssure better and actually can move around in the pocket to buy time.

My thinking is...how much better would Wittens Keys and Glenns numbers be if we had Peyton Manning instead of Drew Bledsoe.

Theres no chance of that happening while Mannings playing like manning. Theres a reason teams let go of Quarterbacks. Not cause they cost too much, a good one you work around them and fill in what you can. But because they have flaws. Unless you draft Manning, Staubach, Aikman, Favre etc... you aint getting one.

So untill we suck that bad or offer something that knocks the texans socks off, we aint getting a manning. We have what we have. He came with faults. With those faults, while protected he was among the league leaders in ratings. We were jamming on the field and everything was on the kicker. Flo goes down and bam, the Oline takes a big hit in production, exposing and magnifying Beldsoes flaws.

You cant blame one without the other. When both are all pro, we go to the Superbowl. When they are both average, we suck. When the O line is good and the QB average we are contenders. (look to houston to see when the O lne sucks and the QB is very good). name your poison. We gotta beef up the Oline and things will be workable. Blame Bledsoe all you want. His history wth Parcells and position dictate he wont pay the price for the teams failures. Its the Olines faults. We will bring in more Oline to protect the current QB, seen by Parcells as more then adequte.
