Turpin deserves actual wide receiver playing time with his performance on ST. He should be used in the slot and as a deep threat to counter blitzes and keep the running game strong especially in 2 TEs set.

He can be a poor man’s version of T.Y. Hilton.

Very confused. I thought you would tag a video of Turpin making incredible catches. This thread is a fail. No one cares about Hilton. 20 seconds in... No Turpin. Stopped watching.

Apparently, what the coaches see in practice doesn't impress them nearly as much as what you see in your imagination impresses you.

I think we need to be running Turpin out of the backfield and posting him out wide going deep. He is the key to our offense. You don't just sit on the reigning USFL MVP.

I think he should be doing exactly what he’s doing. He’s too small he’ll get killed if he plays too many snaps. And then we won’t have a return or game

Run the ball. No trick plays in the back field. Run the ball. 12 personnel. Protect the QB and have extra blockers. Start toting the rock and play action. Take the short passes and guess what… run the ball. By the 3rd quarter those deep passes have been there for every single win.

Sunday night Moore did those stupid come back or curl routes deeper and they got picked. Elliot was warmed up and running tough. But they kept thinking they needed to jump to those routes. The throw to Lamb was there but Rush didn’t step up. Threw off the back foot cause he didn’t want to take the shot. Threw a duck. Had he thrown a strong pass it was 6.

Moore does game plan......... it was just a pile of dung sunday night. I think he has done a decent job in making Rush look like an NFL starting QB for awhile.
He thought we needed to go deeper early to keep pace. We simply needed to not turn the ball over. We have the talent. Defense didn’t have the best game but we have them like 4 extra drives. And MM knows he should have challenged that play. Lamb had the 1st down.

The best way to improve the running game is to actually use it. The Zeke/Pollard tandem is killin it but Moore absolutely will not lean on them like he should. Oh and if I see one more delay handoff with the backside DE left completely unblocked I'm going to go find Moore and Philbin and choke them both. What the HALE kinda play design is that? Let's say we believe a lot of DEs will just stand there and watch the play.. Do we not have ample evidence by now that MOST of them see you hand the ball off and shoot inside to make the tackle? Surely I'm missing something with this blocking scheme.

I could see it if the play was a quick hitter up the middle or to one side. But we do it on a DELAY. We give the DE plenty of time to watch the back take the handoff, leaving him no doubt about what he needs to do. Even if he THOUGHT he was supposed to rush the passer or something he has eyes and he can see you handing the ball off to a back 10 feet away from him. What exactly do we think he's going to do? Keep going after the QB? I'm glad I don't have any hair left because I'd pull a little of it out every time we run that play!!!

Remember how the running game started clicking towards the end of the first half. Imagine that instead of the stupid INT on 1st down after the Eagles scored, you had run the ball and gotten it going at 7-0 instead of 17-0. Imagine Zeke and Pollard finding their groove by the 10-12 minute mark of the 2nd quarter? How different does this game look if the running game we saw in the 3rd quarter showed up in the 2nd? Moore refused to let the runners get any kind of rhythm early on. One he did, they went off.. but by then the damage was done..

The turnovers come when they know your routes, if you attack defenses hi and low they won’t be able to sit on routes.

Running game can take you so far, hence Titians and Browns haven’t done anything in the post-season.

A deep passing game will allow this team to run the ball at will in the regular season and more importantly in the playoffs.

Everyone knows since Coop was here we run to many curl routes. He yelled it on the sidelines that they are gonna sit on it. He got with Dak and they ran a go and burned them. Lamb has caught them on a double move deep with Rush. It happens after you run the ball and play action. 12 personnel let’s you do so many things. I like the run play with Elliot and Pollard in the I-formation.

I’m all for hearing arguments to get Turpin on the field more, but saying he deserves it because of his ST play isn’t it. Plenty of receivers in the history of the league who were great ST players and electric with the ball in their hands but couldn’t cut it as a regular.

I’d argue the best thing this offense needs is receivers who can run great routes that create separation or bigger bodied receivers who can go up and get the ball. Turpin doesn’t fit either of those. Not saying he can’t have a role, but I need to see more before I can support him being more than a gadget player who gets more than a couple snaps per game. I just don’t see him having more value than lamb, brown, Gallup, pollard as a regular.

He has done it in 2 games. Against bucs in the opener and now egirls. Both games Elliot was running strong and a few more runs would have broken a long one for either Elliot or Pollard. MM not listening to the players when they wanted him to challenge the spot. Lamb knew he had the first down. Anytime they think they are playing a better team they try to throw to deep to soon. Get away from a working running game.

This weekend will be interesting. If Dak is back will they try to roll Dak out and throw deep or go back to the run game and play action. I know our Defense will be going off. They are all pissed about the way they played. We already know that lions will try what egirls did and dump it when Parsons is coming and run at him when he lays back. Been saying that Quinn needs to blitz using other players besides bringing the front 4 and hoping they don’t run off the edge.

ST play?
Outside of the Eagles game, he has done little on special teams.
There's a big difference playing against USFL and preseason competition and playing against regular season competition.

This totally ticks me off too!! I can't for the life me get why K. Moore is so stubborn with that stinking DELAY draw??

My big fear is the cowboys had no idea how to adjust to get the run game going. Seems like they had to wait until halftime before making schematic changes that eliminated the 1v1 matchups with phillys DTs.

really hope I’m wrong but I just get the sense KM can’t adjust to anything in the moment and is a better play designer than OC.
