Search for the gify you want in your search engine (google) under images specifically. Select the gify you want to take you to a modified web address that contains the gify. But be sure to get off that big search results page with all of them listed after you found the image you want bc it will take you to a different web address, etc. Then usually can just do a copy and paste job. When that doesn't work, scroll over the entire image and then select copy (don't know why this works sometimes tbh). Then paste in your Zone post amongst or after your text, etc. Usually works for me. Avatars, yeah have no clue w/that one. Some are copyright protected and don't work though but 99% do.

What you did to include that screenshot is what you do to include an animated gif. The reason that gif doesn't load is probably because they're blocking hotlinks (probably gif only) or there's some downed servers. Save it and upload it somewhere else (i.e. imgur).

Easier to grab a random one off a search like I did. If he wants a custom one he made then yes, he should multiple host it, but I thought postimg.org was allowed here.

I would think anything that's not a censored term is allowed here, but postimg is its own server with their own rules. That dead image linked is a valid link when accessed directly, but not when linked, leading to questions about hotlinking. When that happens, try another host.

I searched for one of the many many gifs of that scene from the office, copied the address and then posted it here. You can copy this one if you want.

I have always used postimg because its fast and free for me to get something off computer to hosting site. Your recommending imgur to host instead?

For now, yeah, it's fine. They've added annoyances recently and I'm not a fan of their gifv, but they're still pretty solid.
