How to stop all the penalties

If the team gets more than 5 penalties a game, or gets a penalty during a crucial drive - Jerry fines WADE and the rest of the coaching staff. I have a sneaking suspicion that all of a sudden it would become a point of emphasis during practice.

Penalties are killing this team. It's amazing that we've managed to win 4 games despite the high numbers of penalties - especially ones at crucial times during the games.

Say all you want about accountability and all that jazz....but there is nothing a coach can do to make his team stay onsides. You learn that when you are 10.

Well, Stephen is on the competition committee. Maybe he can change the rules?

I think when I was watching the Viking game today the announcers said that Hutchison's penalty today was his first one in something like 27 games.

Plus or minus a game or two.

Electric shock collars. Every time they commit a stupid penalty give them a shock. Maybe even the voltage could be increased every time so that the more penalties they commit the worse they are shocked. Of course Flozel might get electricuted to death.

I don't know what they need to do, but they need to figure something out. It's ridiculous.

Fining players for penalties violates the CBA.

Of course -- why would the union want its members to be accountable for their screw-ups?

Replace the yellow flag with a frag grenade at practice.

How about this

For every 5 yd penalty accrued, 1 hour of community service
For every 10 yd penalty accrued, 2 hours of community service
For every 15+ yd penalty accrued, 3 hours of community service.

All community service to be completed on the first off day following the game.

Jerry, Stephen, and Wade decide what the community service will be.

Basically, if you want your full day off, you better not commit penalties and hurt the team.

I guess we can considered the use of Sun Tzu's technique toward decipline.....

The king wanted to test his best general, Sun Tzu, so he ordered him to make an army out of his comcubines. The general agreed, but only on the condition that the king not interfere under any circunstances with his training. The king agreed.

Sun Tzu took the comcubines out to the field and lined them up in groups for marching. Then he gave them instructions as to how they needed to do their marching exercises. After some considerable time of instruction, Sun Tzu, gave the comcubines the orders to march. The ladies began gigling and moving in total chaotic disorder. Swish , swish, swish. Heads began to roll, literally.

The women began to yell, cry, and run. Swish, swish, swish. More heads were rolling. Sun Tzu, yelled out to the women to line up again in thier groups and again gave them the order to march as had been instructed. Once again the women were totally confused and mortified. More heads went to the ground. After several unsuccessful marching starts and literal rolling of heads, the women understood the severity of their situations and marched exactly as had been instructed, continuosly, for several hours. Sun Tzu, told them that they had done good and went to the king, who had been out at the field during the training. Sun Tzu told his king, "They are ready to become your best army" :(

I think that this is the no fail policy the Cowboys should impliment to controlling these absurd # of penalties. However, and it is a big however......
where do the Cowboy organization get the comcubines........:)

I bet it will work however, you'll need
