My "C" drive is acting flakey and I'm afraid it's about to die. What's the best software/way to copy the contents of the drive to a new HD?

Nortons Ghost is the best I have used.

Find the program to put on a bootable floppy.

Turn off computer.

Connect your new hardrive to the original (make sure you have the correct jumper settings)

Insert Nortons floppy disk

Turn on Computer

Follow on screen instructions.

Does not take long at all.

buy an external hdd that allows backup and back it up then get a new hdd and just copy every thing from the external to the new one. that is a slower process though

I've used AlohaBob's PC Relocator when I got a new PC, and on other friends' new PCs...

Weird name, but it works well, and is easy to work with... I got mine at Staples...
