I haven't been able to watch these past 2 preseason games. I've read a lot about how Arkin has been coming along. I've also been hearing that Smith and Free have been having some trouble. Really, the two guys I'm interested in the most are the guys that were brought in to be our day 1 starters at G--Livings and Bernadaeu.

How has Jermey Parnell looked?

I'm a fan of Parnell.

He didn't play in the SD game and I have not reviewed the Rams game. He was good in the Oakland game.

I think he could be better than Free. The problem is that he appears to be better or more comfortable at LT than at RT.

Tyron got beat by Quinn a few times last night which I was pretty surprised by but hey, he's still young

tyron played decent. still needs alot of work

Yeah he does. He held up last night, but boy it looked like he was dealing with a handful last night.

Offensive Line looks terrible. Romo running for his life, no inside holes, Arkin is getting pushed around, Livings getting blown away, Free is a mess and even Smith getting beat by better technique. Good luck with that! :(

And now he has learned Quinns moves the next time they play he will own him

Arkin was steady - Leary has to go.

Arkin is still weak and got bull rushed and pushed back. He needs another year

Free is not consistent

Tyron got schooled somewhat

The guards were decent

Free is going to be a problem this year. He got pushed back on like every play. I'm willing to give most everyone else the benefit of the doubt (well not really Arkin, but he's not starting), but he stood out as horrible to me.

Thought the guard play was very good. Arkin... He needs a year.

The tackles were soft last night.

that is exactly how I seen it also

Week one vs Giants will tell us all we need to know about just how good our defense can be because NY is healthy and looking great on offense.

It will also tell us all we need to know about our OL, despite the fact that they will improve during the season. NY is decimated at CB and will be relying on backups on opening night; therefore they'll throw everything into their pass rush.

I'm never one to put too much on the first game, but win or lose, we will learn a great deal about just how good our defense can be and whether or not our OL can hold up enough this year to allow our skilled players to put up enough points to win games.

Leary had a really bad night.

I agree with your assessment. Not one Olineman we can totally trust. Concerned about Smith as he seems to get beat on a regular basis and Free is weak at best. Interior, this is the worst part of the Oline. Equals a long season. Only rushing yards will be because of runner and not the Oline.

I disagree based on last night anyway.

The starting guards played well.
