How was the offense so poor vs ARZ?

Dak looked like a deer in headlights unwilling to give lamb and Pickens any opportunities downfield..

The OL got dominated , they abandoned the run.

Now Seattle looks like they are just coasting up and down the field. I know Seattle is a better team but, Dallas offensively looked completely lost last week. The offense looked unstoppable at home until last week.

Did Dallas underestimate the cardinals? Was the Cowboys game the Cardinals Super Bowl? Did Jerry saying they’ve made a trade 2 hours before kickoff derail the focus? What happened ?

Are you assuming they had focus before the game against the Cards? They haven't had any focus since the GB game, and they only had it that day because Micah was playing for the other team.

Sometimes you just have either a rough matchup or things are not clicking that day. This can happen especially often if you have a team carried by offense as that can happen.

Dak is a very good, highly intelligent quarterback with notable physical shortcomings, specifically arm talent. There will always be throws he can’t make.

Brian Schottenheimer has never been able to hold an OC job for long, and has never received serious head coaching consideration outside of Dallas. He was a comfort hire.

Seattle doesn’t look too good either. They have two defensive touchdowns to bolster them. With that said, the offense has been less than adequate the past two weeks.

Schotty and Dak. Good teams have consistent offense and quarterback play and coaching. We do not!! Dak kills teams then looks lost with others. Same with Schotty. Not going to change until Jerry brings in a real coach with pedigree. Versus on the job training.

The offense isn't going to shine every week. There will be Sundays were nothing seems to be going right.

That is why it is so important for contenders to have a diverse group of strengths. When one area breaks down, the others pick up the slack.

This is what has been painfully missing for the Cowboys in the 21st century.

If you look back to the Cowboys first Super Bowl season, 1970, you will see that the Cowboys had the #4 offense, #`1 in rushing.

However, you will also see victories with scores like 6-2 and 13-0. They even won a playoff game 5-0.

The offense faltered under ceraig Morton but teh defense put them on their shoulders and carried them those days.

This is what great teams do. This is why the Cowboys are not a great team.
