How well did our DBs cover OBJ you ask?

They covered him well...just so long as our D-line was knocking the snot out of their O-line — the worst in the league — and pressuring/sacking Eli.

Our corners did not shut down O'dell our DL did, so our DBs need to make sure they thank the Front 7, and all the coaches need to make sure the DBs do that, because if Eli had the time O, would have eaten our DBs alive. Harrison Smith had a good response last week to Cowturd's praise of the vikings secondary, he said any time he or anyone gets an Int or makes a good play on the back end it is because the front end did their job, and that he makes sure he gives his front 7 their due praise

That's why you built a team inside out. DL makes DBs look great. OL elevates QB and RB plays.

You'd think the Beckham Jr was all that and a bag of chips last night the way Collinsworth"less" was praising him during the 1st half. I swear he has some serious man love for OBJ.
He is all that and more than a bag of chips,

Exactly, I have been telling people that for years now, but people still do not understand that. Because all they look for is the great catches, runs, passes and hits. oh and they listen to the commentators that either do not know or just crushing on a team or player

I guess I should also have listed the bad part too. Evan Engram averaged a whopping 6.64 yards of separation per Next Gen Stats. I expect a sizable chunk of that average was on that blown TD play, but he also caught 7 of 7 targets, so there is something for our defense to work on.

Byron should of never been switched to safety. And they took so long to find out he is better at corner smh. Is he in his last year?

We have him locked up next year. His 5th year option was exercised, so we'll have him next year.

I always thought he was a good coverage guy, but just never made turnovers.

Very happy with his play so far this season.

Our Dbs are finally not a problem. While they did allow some catches, they were contested, they tackled well, and the YAC was pretty much null
