About the same, as long as the QB remains Dak Peescott.

Dallas needs to draff a QB like Jaren Hall tjhis year and maybe bring in someone like Derrick Carr for competition then have a 4-way, open competition between those guys and Cooper Rush.
you cant bring in a B/U vet that will demand 30-40 mil with qb on the cap for 49mil cant and wont nor should happen,. its why fans need to stop trying to be GMS
I thought Rush was a candidate for starter all last season for some of you, some suggested after the Washington finale ush should play TB lol?? 5-1 career as BU and now you want to offer up ridiculous suggestions. be real or don't post FF type suggestions.

yes go draft a QB if truly good one with upside falls to you 3rd-5th rounds etc but the other stuff lie Carr would come here is nonsense. other BU vets out there maybe are more lie Mayfield, Wentz and players like thats willing to take actual BU money ie 7-10mil not the 20-30 for middling 1b starter like Tannehill, wentz, or ryan.

we have a Cap cant add big salary to challenge for a job if our top 10 starter makes 49mil cant be traded or cut nor should he....

do better,

NEXT

I doubt the Cowboys will be any better next year than they were in this one. The changes will take time to foster an upturn, rather than being detrimental. If that's not enough, we'll still be stuck with a FO that's habitually ineffective. Let's hope for an unexpected pleasant surprise, though.
that was said this offseason and we actually did improve.

Need to see the new coaching on offense, and who will call the plays.

Then need to see what they do in FA, as if they change their philosophy and bring in some better players. And not this 1 year prove it players. Especially older vet players, or bargain basement types, and any coming off of injuries.

Then see what they do in the draft. They usually do well. But will they try to plug holes, or get actual future impact starters. 1 being a future QB. Need a RB as well.

Then I will decide how they will do. Right now, I say no better than they have been. 12 wins tops, 8 wins bottom.
They do have a much tougher schedule, a combines .546 compared to what, .420 last season, 9 playoff teams and 6 of those on the road.

Last year, we didn't make the number of changes that we'll deal with in the year to come. I'd be satisfied to remain about the same.
says you... opinions are like...............................................

well you know.

:muttley:

however, all the PS talk were WRONG

now we starting months earlier with the doom and now you moved the goalposts, the moves made were for 2022 more will be are being made for 23.. we were supposed to be bad according to the fans and media "historically bad offseason." Not enough talent" "not enough depth" Ceede cant be 1 without Cooper taking the coverage" " Rush is a jag and sux"

all wrong

yet improvement is we were better ie one more win in the playoffs is improvement, no debate. our schedule was tougher, division was tougher, and we had much better record against above 500 teams and payoff teams...

no debates. that all a fact...

how's that not improving?

you wait for debates on 23 once we see them play, not in January, 9 months before the season starts,

I was right saying that last august and i am now.. anything else is opinions and hyperbole and doesn't count for spit.

every season is one off not much carry's over. ask the rams.

Keep guessing doom and gloom, yearly in the offseason you will get one correct.. nice attitude from fan..let me guess you are entitled because of ahemm ,27 years of disappointment LMAO never heard that one..

keep up the great fandom.

Ok so i'm stoked we have two back to back 12 win seasons. but we are now going to usher in a new OC & new offensive position coaches. Dak's going to have to learn new terminology new scheme concepts etc, WR learning new route trees and how to run them against certain coverages, we are going to have 2 new RBs possibly...

Question is how well do you think we really do this next season? I'm thinking 9-8 or worse.
28 years of historical knowledge should provide an easy answer.

I don't expect we change over night. You don't go 28 years without a SB and suddenly the lights come on.

right when healthy i call this a very close and even matchup. some of our fans are closet philly fans. its obvious.
Close but not even. They are clearly better at three positions on the O-line and have more depth there. Their interior D-line is certainly better, where we have a slight edge on the edge. They also have more depth there as well.

Next year may be different. They will probably lose three defensive linemen, maybe four. Cox, Suh, Joseph, and Graham will be some combination of released/retire. On the O-line, Kelce (35 years old) may retire, but they have his clone waiting in the wings. Who knows with him, he is still playing like the best center in the game. Next year we can close that gap to nothing, I hope.
