How will Dak's 3rd year turn out?

I know G but that's just chatter. As fans we need to know "now" but are forced to wait for September to roll around and cast our feint of heart on the entire CZ world until that happens. It's the need to control and I've learned a thing or two in 60 years, we have control of one thing only, our own actions. I prescribe a good dose of O. That's short for O-line btw. After a good dose of Dr O, bring out the 10 personnel and let the other teams deal with that nightmare. I look at the potential
yes 10 personnel would certainly make any defensive coordinator nervous about loading the box

We're you rooting for Chaz Green to prove us "haters" wrong also? Or were you jumping for joy when the team signed his replacement ?

You care more about one player than the team...

Go Cowboys!
If your logic is always based on red herrings

Franchise QB in Dak, just drafted a kid they love in White and Rush is still here another QB they love.

How many QB's do you think the Cowboys need?

As many as possible when Dak is your starter....

I thought less is better this morning when talking about young Dak! But pretty much middle of the pack is what I would expect.

Hmm, can't say I agree...if anything I think we have to wait until after this year to call him one way or another...

Through 8 games last year before zeke was suspended and Tryon was injured he was in the MVP race....

Through 2 years he has led the team to a 22-11 record...which is good no matter how you slice it...the guy is viewed as a leader...

Not going to annoint him or call him a jag, but based on the first two years I think it's fair to say he is trending more towards the former than the later....only time will tell

I don't get the amount of hate towards Dak there is in our fan base. I am not talking about those who say his 2nd year was not so great and he needs to prove himself this year. I am talking about the fans who make comments like "yeah uh you need to draft as many QBs you can if you have Dak as your QB"

I mean first of all, you would basically swapping a late draft pick for multiple late draft pick QBs, sooooo you gonna give each one three years?

The extreme hate just tells me that person doesn't really understand football. Injuries to oline last year, lack of running game, breakdowns at wr and yes even at QB.

Get a grip and be honest when you make an opinion or don't post. Makes you look bad

I fully expect Dak to rebound from this past season. He forced some balls last season that he avoided his rookie season those turnovers were costly especially when you are a predominately a running team. I think he will use last season as a learning tool and will be better for it. For me I tend to believe people learn much more from failure than from success.

dear fellow cowboy fanzone freaks--- i will be honest...i personally do not know how Dak's 3rd year as QB will turn out?...i hope he becomes all and more we all hope he will be...but i dont know...do any of you fanzone freaks have a better idea how Dak will do?

thanks for your consideration in this matter
sincerely
GORICO

I don't know how it will turn out but I know he has the work ethic to do it.

I am just not sure he is capable.

32 total touchdowns with 9 nine interceptions and 2 fumbles............................

Really I have no idea. I’m highly skeptical after the second half of last season where he looked like a borderline NFL player, much less starter.

But I do remember how smooth he looked in 2016 and I pray that Dak returns.

Gun to head?

I suspect somewhere between last year's mediocrity and his rookie year's amazement.

I know, I went out on a limb with that prediction. LOL.

That was a read option play, not an RPO.

An RPO calls for the QB to throw the ball immediately after the playfake. The only way it opens them up to being hit, is if the defender gets immediate pressure after the snap. Which would be a risk on any passing play.
true...also O line is run blocking not pass blocking..so that can increase risk of penetration into backfield

Sydia---wow you went so far out on that limb the branch is bending...hehehehe...but....its probably true statement

ALL things are leaning toward him having a better year..More weapons less drama..Specifically a real guard on his blindside, (Dont underestimate this) A fullback who can block, catch, and run..and a staff who realizes they were the reason why our oline went to crap, blaming your all time td scorer, and scaring your TE INTO ditching early...I think they know the score..We see..
