Guyton played best as a tackle. Smith can be All-Pro at either. Just switch em. What's so hard about it
You do not move ALL PRO players to another position. ITs been done temporarily due to season needs; but never permanentlyI don’t know why Dallas values OG’s so much? Tyler looks more influential when he’s playing LT. He plays with a physicality and gets into space better than anyone else. I think the interior of Beebe, Hoffman, Bass would be more than adequate in 2025. I’d move Tyler to LT where he has looked excellent. You would save 11 million against the cap if you release Steele. Have Guyton/Waletzko compete for RT. Richard’s is your backup LT/C.
No I do not believe Smith is an ALL PRO at tackleGuyton played best as a tackle. Smith can be All-Pro at either. Just switch em. What's so hard about it
Exactly. Tyler Smith is an all-pro guard. He can be just a "pretty good" left tackle. Dallas can play Smith outside if an injury forces it during a game; otherwise they'd be wasting his talents. No I do not believe Smith is an ALL PRO at tackle
There is no way that Steele can be a swing tackle. Richards or Guyton but not steele
I think we can figure out the position among Richards, Guyton and Smith. If Richards shows he's up for it, we could move Guyton to right tackle and trade Steele. Because of Smith's ability to move to left tackle if needed, I'd be OK with trading Steele in the offseason depending on what we'd get. Frankly, I'd prefer it to be player for player because that's the only way Dallas acquires "quality" NFL players on other teams.I’m a big Richards fan but it’s dangerous to go into the season with him penciled in as a starter. If they wanted to have a real competition between him and Guyton I’m all for it. Wish we got the opportunity to see him play more this season.
I doubt Steele gets cut at this point, he finished the year pretty strong.
No more busts at tackle, dont need another Guyton, draft someone that can make an immediate impact, no developmental guys that have "potential"I voted against it, and I like Richards. However, Cowboys have the 12th pick at worst, so they have the opportunity to select the best or 2nd best LT in the draft. They can still get rid of Steele if they want too, and have a camp battle involving Guyton and Richards at RT.
I just can't punt on LT for Richards.
trade or cut Guyton the guy is a liabilityI think we can figure out the position among Richards, Guyton and Smith. Whos's dumb idea is it to draft him?Heard he had immaturity issues prior to the draft, have heard same things during the season that he must be more mature on and off the field
Get a coach that can fix itPresnap penalties kill this team
He stinks that is the issueAgree, Guyton hasn’t played bad but something must be happening behind the scenes because the coaching staff sure is making him accountable for his mistakes.
Trade or cut Guyton now, he's a bust, terrible pick just like MaziFor me it comes down to who is your better LT. On the field Im not as discouraged as some with Guyton. It was always going to be that way. I think there are other questions that we aren't privy to the awnsers though (benching).
Guytons only potential is that he's a bust, trade or cut him now, he's a penalty machineI like Richards he's played well with the opportunities given. However, I can't say we've seen enough to think he can be a regular starting LT in the league, but there is potential there. Guyton has potential too, I just can't figure out if it's better to continue to develop him as an LT or slide him over to RT.

I think Steele could be a post June cut.Dang good poll!!!
And I really like the thinking. Trade Steele (hope that made you LOL) or cut him.
It was a mess.Presnap penalties kill this team
