How would you Grade Reeves tonight?

didn't anyone notice Madden going on and on about how Eli should have looked to Plax in the endzone, on at least 2 drives? he probably didn't look to him because Reeves had a bee-line on him

He was ok. I would give him a C he made a few plays but he also gave up a few plays. Hopefully he will improve as the season goes on. He will probably be a good 3rd CB once Tnew comes back.

I thought he played fairly well, apart from the huge cushion he was giving Plax, but that last TD was all on RW.

Grade A Choice Roast.............at least that is how Plax would grade Reeves after he basted and cooked Reeves all night long.

C
Didn't he get burned for a TD when he was caught flat-footed in the end zone

Still, the kid has promise. And swagger, which i liked

was i watching a different game? reeves a B? he got 1 interception because plaxico fell.. plaxico Owned him.

Nope, he did not guard plaxico the entire time. I give him a B. He started and did the best he could. Yes, he gave up some yards, but overall he did a good job. Obviously the coaches had him play back quite a bit and that gave Plaxico many yards. Once, plaxico scored over Henry. Another score came against Williams who cannot play pass D. Therefore, your only left with ONE td by Plaxico on Reeves; not exactly owning Reeves.

Nope, previous post...

have some people seriously been saying A's or B's??? i would give him at best a D. yes he was put in a bad situation but still performed horrible n deserves some blame. just like Roy was also put in bad situations but still deserved an F

How do you figure?

I think that if the Giants chose to throw to Plaxico every time.... they would score a TD. If they would have taken that approach we might have lost the game.

Plax lit us up tonight.

Na besides that big play on Henry....he locked down

I thought so too, but when I read this board, I came away thinking Henry was beaten all night long.

Don't you think the D coordinator probably would have expected that type of play, since we are speculating?

Plaxico owned his man ALL NIGHT LONG. Where am I speculating? Where am I speculating about a particular play? I was clearly refering to the player, Plaxico. Tonight, the play didnt matter. He was catching it and scoring.

You are speculating in regards that Plaxico would have caught more passes thrown his way and that he would have scored.

It's sad that Spencer really didn't play well, but it appears he did cuz everyone else on D was just completely horrible.

Spencer had a sack (doesn't count in his stats because it came on a two-point coversion play, but it might have been our biggest defensive play of the game). He also knocked Manning out of the game with another knockdown. A sack and a hurry -- that's not bad for a rookie's first game.
