Figured we all needed a break from the constant Dak contract talk.

So let’s do something fun.

We’ve got so many weapons on offense now. How would you rank them?

Here’s your candidates:

Dak
Zeke
Pollard
Amari
Gallup
Lamb
Jarwin
Dak - 1QB reads the defense, makes adjustments to the offense accordingly
Amari 1WR in a pass-heavy offense
Zeke - 1RB best RB in the league
Gallup - 2WR
Jarwin - 1TE
Lamb - 3WR
Pollard - 2RB

Collectively our weapons should prove to be a headache, individually it really depends on game day scheme, what or who are the defense giving us, what or who are they trying to take away.

With good health and a good game plan our offensive weapons should be routinely nominated for the NFL's Tylenol unit of the week:flagwave:
Dallas will have the gain and the other team the pain.

Hard to rate options in different positions:

Dak Prescott:
As a starting QB: B+. One of the better starting QB's IMO
Value over replacement: C- Dalton is pretty good)

Ezekiel Elliott:
As a feature back: A+. A top 3 feature back
Value over replacement: B Short-term Pollard is fine, but can he handle the load of an every-down back

Amari Cooper:

As a no.1 WR: B+ One of the better No.1 WR
Value over replacement: A Our 4th WR sucks

Michael Gallup:
As a no.2 WR: A+ Top 3 no.2 in the league
Value over replacement: A Our 4th WR sucks

Ceedee Lamb
As a Slot Receiver: B Huge talent but there are more proven options
Value over replacement: B+ The 4th WR sucks

Blake Jarwin
As a no.1 TE: C- He's a slightly below average as a no.1 TE
Value over replacement: A We have terrible receiving TE options behind Jarwin

Tony Pollard
As a change of pace RB: B+ One of the better change of pace RB's
Value over replacement: A After Pollard its Olawale

In terms of importance IMO it's
1. Prescott
2. Zeke
3. Cooper
4. Gallup
5. Lamb
6. Jarwin
7. Pollard
Nice write up --I see Lamb A by the end of the year.
With Lamb the potential to shoot up.

Yeah, I think that's the case as well. There's likely some adaptation but by the end of the season, I think he'll have outgrown the slot role and we will almost use our 3 WR's as interchangeable pieces.

unstoppable offense :yourock::yourock::yourock::yourock:

I think we're in the mix for the best offense behind the Chiefs. The Saints, Ravens & Buccs are also right there.

Hard to say anyone is close to the Cheifs though with the Hill/Kelce combo. And they've been able to shore up RB bringing in Helaire.

Zeke Have to keep him at #1 last years hold out i feel hurt his game but his first two years He has lead this team
Amari We had no passing game and defenses just loaded the box He helped Daks game in big ways
Dak- Dak did some great things last year but we still only came out with 9 wins The hold out and unknown would like to see this team come in and start TC with everyone there
Gallup Like to see him in his 3rd year and build off of his performance from last year Maybe not so many drop balls
Jarwin- First will we use him correctly 2nd can he make the most of his opportunity
Pollard- I think this year he will be the 3rd down back we envisioned but wow so many weapons
Lamb Has potential and until he gets on the field I cant rank him higher

Hard to rank a player that hasn’t played a snap yet. Or players that don’t see the field enough.

Lamb never played a down for us yet.
Jarwin barely saw the field with Witten there.
Pollard is the same as Jarwin. No snaps.

Cowboys have the talent it falls to McCarthy and Moore to utilize the talent that is on this team to get the most out of them.
