How would you react to incredibly laid back announcing?

You know how announcers have to put on this 1940's radio broadcaster persona what if they talked like how we talk they were just like "wow sick catch anyway what's up Troy you finish your deck?"

It will eventually become the norm. Talk shows are starting to evolve that way. If you turn on First Take or His and Hers just to name a couple, they are already starting to do it there.

Just a matter of time. ESPN has already started a youth movement by ejecting a bunch of old school foos. Trying to get some new style cats so the milleneals can relate to

Anything is better than that garbage I listened too last night with Laufenberg and the other guy.

Moose is always pretty good though.

I'll turn down the TV sound and turn up the radio broadcast with Brad. You youngsters don't remember the old announcers who made it worth listening to.

I just want guys who can break down the game as its being played. While the game is on I couldn't care less about Troy's deck.

It's the local announcers, rather for Dallas or Miami or other teams. They don't have to hold up to the broadcast being national. It's not their normal thing they do most of the time either. Not for some of them.

Like a slap in the face, sometimes Old School doesn't change, what is true today can always be true this is how 'old sayings' got old and that's the case with the 1940 commentary, explaining what just happened on the field.

Just break down the play and commentary about the game please. Leave the personal stuff for your boring small talk with yourselves.

You think small talk is cool, okay but not everyone is like you are. Some people have more important things to think about besides some strangers idioms, sorry if you perceive personal cantering as entertainment, to me it is just excessively boring.
