I'm not sure why that comment would make it racist. I don't see anything declaring race had something to do with it. (unless you're talking about Ross Perot's "You people" comment!) :laugh2:

If you don't see why it COULD be, then I can't help you. The original chain letter is obviously meant to say that "uneducated" black people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

If you had replaced all the obvious subtext with the connotation being that redneck, uneducated white people shouldn't be allowed to vote, it'd be the same thing.

I don't think uneducated people should be allowed to vote. I think you should have to take a test on the issues, or at the very least understand and take a test on the U.S. Constitution. I don't care what color you are.
