Here are the other players Dwight has stated he would like to play with aside from Williams (and even asked the Magic to trade for):

Chris Paul - Free Agent 2013
Monta Ellis - Early Term Free Agent 2013 (Magic tried to get a three way trade wit Bucks and Golden State but were booted at the last minute)
Andre Iguadala - Early Term Free Agent 2013
Josh Smith (Dwight's best friend) - Free Agent 2013 (Magic have been discussing three way trades with the Hawks on and off since July 2011)

Dwight is opting in to see if the Magic can find a way to get one or more of these guys. He actually wants to stay in Orlando, but has been frustrated with some of the Magic Front Office moves.

He would simply have opted out if he wanted to play with DWill. It may still happen, but he is giving Orlando a shot to land one of his guys first.

The Magic should attempt to get Deron Williams and Iguodala.

That would be a good 1-2-3. PG, Swingman, and a Big.

I wife is a huge Monta Ellis fan. My problem with him is he doesn't play defense. He was the quintessential Don Nelson player.
He is lethal offensively. However he is a volume shooter too.

Magic have zero capspace and have Hedo JRICH and a bunch of guys that are almost untradable with huge contracts and have already used amnesty on Agent Zero.

Man if D-Will isn't traded anywhere i'd be through the roof with excitement, 90% chance he'll come to dallas next year.

I think it's about 50/50. I could easily see him staying with the Nets as they're set to move to Brooklyn. They're gonna get a high draft pick, they have a very solid young player in Brooks, Lopez is very good when healthy, Humpries is a solid rebounder/scorer, and as I said they're moving to Brooklyn. They could very easily get Howard next season.

I'd like to see Knicks move Anthony and someone for him, but I know that's just a dream.

 That would be a horrible trade for Orlando. Stan Van Gundy wants his players to play defense and the offense preaches passing the ball.

You folks keep him and love him!

I'm glad he is staying, I just hope to god that deron doesn't go to the mavs, not because they would be particularly scary, but because the idiots decided to pretty much throw one of the final years of dirk's prime away on a pipe dream
