i was wondering if anyone heard howie longs comments on fox ot, he said the cowboys have a very deep and very good football team and they could run the table. and the comment got no arguement from terry or jimmy, which jimmy says he really likes the cowboys. i agree with this , however to run the table allthough there capable, it will be tough to do, hey you got to be impressed with tony romo and the offense, there consistantly moving the ball down the field and getting at or over 400yds of offense per game. i used to look at 3rd and longs and say to myself get ready to punt, now its romo will get it done. the def isnt perfect but there good and really good against the run. the only thing thats hurting this team right now is penalties . we had 9 again yesterday and need to get those down next week, i beleive we have a good shot at giving the colt there 1st loss of the season.

People were saying the same thing after the Carolina and even more so the Tennessee Win. This a hot, cold, and very inconsistent ball club.

Bottom line, the Cardinals were 1-7 and we took care of business and beat a team that should be beaten. I dont think there was one guy on this forum or in the media that chalked up a Loss for us.

We need to make our reputation on beating the Eagles, Giants and Colts of the world and not the CardINTals.

I used to say, 3rd and long here comes the draw and punt, quitting on the drive.

Now, Romo takes the shotgun snap, steps up and bam, always a chance.

I love it.

You said it.... although I would like to say that I would not like to see Romo having to do 3rd and long all that often... just knowing he can do it is good enough for me.... how about some 3rd and shorts :D

I agree right now we have shown ourselves as being inconsistent and undisciplined. That can change, I think this team from a talent stand point can beat any team they face but they 1st need to stop beating themselves. Colts will be a very good test for this team and right now that is the only game the team needs to be concerned with

If you look at Indy's remaining schedule, you'd have to put at Dallas as the most difficult game left on their schedule.

11 11/19 @ Dallas Cowboys 4:15 PM
12 11/26 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES 8:15 PM
13 12/3 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00 PM
14 12/10 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM
15 12/18 CINCINNATI BENGALS 8:30 PM
16 12/24 @ Houston Texans 1:00 PM
17 12/31 MIAMI DOLPHINS 1:00 PM

IN THE NFL THE TEAM YOU PLAY DOESNT MATTER AND ANYONE WHO WATCHES FOOTBALL SHOULD KNOW THAT.....AND BEATING ARIZONA WAS A POSITIVE REGARDLESS OF THERE RECORD....ITS AGGRIVATING HEARING PEOPLE SAY WE ONLY BEAT A TEAM WITH 1 WIN 2 WINS BLAH BLAH....A WIN IS A WIN....ALOT OF THESE TEAMS WITH 1 OR 2 WINS ARE NOT BAD TEAMS THEY JUST HAVE TOUGH BREAKS....I MEAN JUST LIKE US WE SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN 4 WINS AND IF YOU LOOKED AT ARIZONA THIS YEAR THEY SHOULD HAVE ABOUT 4 WINS THEMSELVES....ITS A GOOD WIN FOR THE TEAM PERIOD

:hammer:

This team has been inconsistent for at least a full season of games going back to last year.
Not saying they can't drop the image but they need to get on the stick. Playing a complete, smart game against Indy would be a great place to start.

Speaking of third and short, have you noticed that the offense converts most short yardage plays this year? For several years the dreaded 3rd and 1 killed drive after drive as the Oline got stuffed back into the backfield. Great as Larry Allen was in his prime, this line is better without him.

No doubt.

This team is extremely fun to watch, mainly because of the "Romo-Sapien".

What, Top 10 in Offense and Defense, yes this team can beat any team in the NFL.

But we still have not "proved" it on the field.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from last week especially seeing the Eagles destroy the Commanders. I wanted that Win and the courtesy of closing the door on those stupid Skins' playoff hopes.

This season...that's the truth. Call me a homer but I dont' think the Boys have been straight outplayed all season up to this point. Anyone agree?

Be positive, you could be a falcon fan, they've lost two in a row to Det and Cle

I'm positive that this team needs to learn how to play much more consistent that we have. Giants won 5 in a row before last nights loss. We have won 2 in a row in week 2 and week 4 (bye week in between) It is time for this team to start putting things together and stop the win 1 lose 1. The aggregating point is they are capable of being very good if they can get out of their own way.
