Stop it. No one thought this defense was gonna be any good, ourselves included. I am very pleasantly surprised and can relate with what Howie said.Typical of the media types who don't do their homework.
They've been going up against offenses that have been struggling.

Really ?!!! Or maybe they are also playing a part in their opponents continuing struggles by playing sound yet not flashy defense. Seriously this whole week most were saying Rodgers and Green Bay would break out of their funk against Dallas .. 2 weeks ago some were saying Cincy and AJ green were going to torch them .. before that there were rumbles about Alshon and the bears ... the 49ers on the road .. the Commanders etc etc ... now everyone will point to the eagles but their struggling too ? So I guess the defense is putrid but yet they keep doing enough to hold on to leads and get the ball back for their offense ..They've been going up against offenses that have been struggling.
It's been 9 years since Green Bay didn'the score a TD at home. Dallas D put that in real jeopardy until garbage time. They've been going up against offenses that have been struggling.

Maybe just maybe we are part of the reason?
We cover well, play good redzone defense and create turnovers.
I feel sad for you.Okay, and?
This doesn't change the fact that these are the teams we went up against
Chicago
San Fran
Bengals
Packers
2 of those teams have backups starting, Gabbert just got benched. Bengals, yet again, struggled on offense against the Pats. Packers have struggled since November of last season.
Also, Packers shot themselves in the foot just as much as we stopped them. Wide open Cobb in the end zone come to mind?
You can throw out all the worthless stats that you want about some streak. We have gone up against lowly offense or struggling offenses. FACT.

This is what everyone said about Zeke running the ball so well before today. All the stats about the teams we played being so bad against the run...he can't do it against the packers defense they said. They've been going up against offenses that have been struggling.
In Fox OT after they have players props Long interjects and said, "How about this Dallas defense? Who are these guys?" Gotta love it.
