I really cannot say enough about how dominant our O-Line looked today.

If this was the real deal ...... and not just a fluke game ...... this very well may be an even more dominating line than we had in the mid to early 90's.

We were pretty good last year, but you can already see the difference in attitude and shear nastiness that Houck has installed in these guys.

Maybe the most important coaching change in getting us back to the Super Bowl that we have made (minus Garrett)

And on another note ..... when did Big E get officially added to the coaching staff ...... I thought he was just at camp as a visitor ...... another great hire.

We have the best players at their positions at two line sports (Gurode and Davis) one of the best left tackles the NFL has had in the past decade (Hotel) and two guys who would start for probably 3/4ths of the teams in this league (Kosier and Columbo).

Houck has done a great job, but this line has more talent than he knows what to do with. Too bad they are all going to be 30 soon...

Big E was with us in camp as part of the NFL Minority Fellowship in coaching in an effort to get his new coaching career into swing.

I hadn't read or heard anything about Williams being hired as an assistant OL coach before watching today's game.

Seeing that it was an away game, I don't think Big E could be on the sideline unless he was part of the staff.

I wish we could inject the nastiness he played with into every lineman to don the star.

Our Line was dominate and Romo still gut his jaw split hmmmmm IDK man they might not have got at us often but when they did they made it count. I can't wait until Holland is playing though Proctor is trash.

Offensive linemen tend to hit their stride later than other positions.

Age 30 is where plenty of them come into full bloom.

o-line is a very demanding position, ask any o-lineman and he will tell you they are the smartest guys on the field.

I'm watching the highlights and if Romo has that long to throw the ball he will kill Defenses.

Nice to see run blocking again too.

I was just curious because I heard Troy say he was an assistant on the o-line.

Of all our moves: Hudson Houck makes me feel the most confident , just seeing him calms me down.

Yeah, it looked too easy. Then when they started to bring some heat, we just picked them apart even worse.

Most impressive thing though. When they knew we were going to run, they still couldn't stop it. That sweep to Barber is money (our big guys have good feet), and Felix is the perfect compliment to such a mauling style. When their tongues are hanging, there he goes...

We keep this up, I'm gonna need a new handle.

Speaking of HH, does anyone still think he doesn't have enough "Fire in his belly" anymore?

I can't remember exactly when Big E got hired but I do know that he was at training camp. If I am not mistaken Jerry/Wade bumped into him at the senior bowl (or somewhere) and Big E told them how he was doing and how something didn't work out. So Jerry/Wade talked and decided to give him a job to assist Houck. Something like that, maybe someone can remember it better.

Eagles are going to gameplan all week to find ways to get pressure. Im sure they'll throw all their blitz packages at us.

I agree. Big E looked great. Even though I know he was on the sidelines in a t-shirt and sunglasses, I couldn't help but see him in pads with steam pouring off his head like a locomotive and him blowing water out of his nose and mouth like a crazed bull.

That's my enduring image of Big E.
