I like Hudson Houck. I was very happy when he came back as O-line coach.

But he now has a very important job: teach Alex Barron how to hold better. Not "better" as in more immobilizing, since Barron has already shown that he's ready for his post-NFL career in the WWE. But "better" as in less obvious, less conspicuous, less choke-holdy.

So please, Hudson, teach Barron some good, effective holding techniques that look less like Brazilian ju-jitsu and more like football.

A player has to want to play. Alex Barron is a lazy bum. Can't teach someone who doesn't want to learn.

When Barron came in Houck said he had indentified a technique problem I believe. Well I think we all can identify that it was never fixed.

I knew a guy who tried to train a cat to be a lion but at the end of the day it was still just a cat.

Is it Hudson Houck? Was it Tony Sparano when he bashed him?

I don't think Hudson Houck is the problem and based on the smile I saw on Barrons face after the game im not sure what any coach can do about that other than getting that kind of attitude as far away from the team as possible.

HH should have been fired at the end of last year, anyone with a brain thats programmed to get to the SB, should have made the sub and been done with Barron at least for Sunday.

HH should have interjected to make the opinion or the choice to be done with the matter with the game on the line. Why is he still with us?

His rep is that he plants his feet and extends his arms outside his shoulders, thusly making it too tempting to clothesline guys if they get outside of him.
This is what he did on the play that took away RW's TD. He needs to keep his feet moving, I guess.

You can put a bum on the OLine, but you can't make him block.

Our reclamation projects only worked when Tony Sparano was here (Colombo, Kosier, Davis). Barron is done
