I think the Browns go with McCown if they are trying to win this year. Kessler is about the future and drafts picks next year.

Browns are 0-8 McCown is not going to take Cleveland anywhere, he is a 14 year vet and if he has yet to help produce a winning season in all that time then Cleveland may as well hand the keys to Kessler.

If I'm the Browns I go with the young guy. They are 0-8. The year is over. THey are playing out the string.

McCown has no future. He's just playing out his career, collecting paychecks for as long as he can.

Kessler has actually been semi competent this year. Better than the other dregs they have dragged out so far.

Their offense can score points. Their defense is a problem.

It would be embarrassing if we lost to them. But it can happen if they aren't ready to play on Sunday.
I saw him against Washington, he gave them all kind of fits.

Is that really a step down, even in the short term?

Only reason not to play him, IMO, would be if they were afraid they'd ruin him.

Given we are the cowboys and not the patriots, victory is far from a lock. I hope our guys don't act like they will get the W just by showing up. We all saw what happened to Minnesota against Chicago.

WR Coleman is back this week from injury and will be a problem for us as well I predict. I don't think this game will be as easy as folks think either. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 28-21 game or something like that.

Their offense can move the ball. They don't score many points, however.

No matter how bad an opposing team is, there will plenty of Cowboys fans here to predict a three point win.

Even when Dallas was amazing we would always struggle against a Rams, Saints, or Cardinals type of team back in those days. We'll see what this group does.

What has been different about this team is the domination we have shown.

Chicago, Cinncinnati, Green Bay, San Fran (after the first half). We took those teams to the woodshed and never looked back. They were demoralized and beaten early. It was something I have not seen from Dallas in a long time!

A lot of games in this league are three point wins. And CLE has a fair number of one score losses.

I don't actually think it'll be a three point win. I expect we'll beat the spread. But I do think this team makes a serious run at is early and that the game is not a gimme.

I get what you are saying specifically about Cleveland, but every week is the same predictions no matter the team. You get a very small number of people predicting a blow out or comfortable win, never a blow out loss, and a slew of "don't sleep on them, they could be dangerous, it's going to be a close game."

It's the same thing with preseason record predictions, 95% of the predictions are 9-7 to 10-6. You can pretty much copy and paste the same comments every game, and every off season.

How often do Dallas blow any team out?
The game will be close until the 4th qtr. Then we will take control.
Hardly ever...but it's not often we play 0-8 teams either.

But it could go either way, I'm just going for the blow out! Pow pow. Drop dem bombs on your moms...

Well now, this is a timely revelation by Coach Hue Jackson. It appears it will be our young stud QB against their young stud.

May the best man win -- and I think (or at least, hope) we all know who that'll be! Here's hoping there's no surprise here. :D

I like the idea of the forfeit! Did you hear last night during the Atlanta games that they play 1 game in the next 23 days?? Crazy!

Maybe that'll be enough time for them to forget how to play offense. :)
