*This is fair warning, there is a major spoiler in this article. Do not read any further if you wish to avoid this.*

From a Watchers on the Wall article

And finally, according to a Reddit commenterwho was able to translate the Dutch-language interview, it appears that Kit Harington revealed more than he probably intended to about his return for Season 6 and beyond. He said, in an interview with Humo [transcription from Reddit:

Kit: The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime-

Interviewer: How many more seasons would that be?

Kit: Nice try (laughs). I can’t talk about that.Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).

This is not earth shattering news as we previously reported Kit has been seen on set and filming for Season 6. But it is the first time he himself indicated that he would be continuing with the show.

Jon is back. All debating can be concluded on that particular topic.

For avid fans, this hopefully isn't much of a spoiler. He had to be back. Glad to have it confirmed, anyway.

Agreed. I always thought he would be back and would have been thoroughly shocked if he wasn't. It turned into the worst-kept secret in TV.

Even people who don't read the books should know what is going on to a degree due to how much has been discussed in these threads.

Curious how they decide to bring Jon Snow back....will Lady Stoneheart revive the bast*rd son of Ned Stark? Will the Brotherhood Without Banners revive him? Or will the Nights King (Ice King) make him a white walker? Thanks for the info ROH88!

By now, with production on Season 6 in full swing, Harington knows full well whether or not Snow lives, dies, zombifies or simply makes a cameo appearance as a corpse on a funeral pyre or in a vision or a flashback. Which is what makes a recently surfaced interview the actor gave to a Belgian magazine while promoting Testament of Youth so interesting.

In the middle of griping yet again about his obligation to the show—the man would just like to cut his hair without setting off an international crisis, thank you—Harington seemed to accidentally reveal that he’s still signed up for future appearances.

“Let’s just say that Game of Throneswill remain a part of life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: The day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects.”
“I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones,” he said, according to Dutch-translating Redditors. “So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime—”

And in the meantime, he said, leisurely steamrolling through HBO’s already threadbare veil of secrecy. His interviewer interrupted, “How many more seasons would that be?”

“Nice try [laughs]. I can’t talk about that,” Harington said, before talking about it. “Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: The day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects.”

No problem. I know a lot of people were upset about the season finale and secrecy so I've kept my ears open for Jon Snow news. There's plenty of spoilers and news at watchers on the wall for anyone interested.

Of course he's coming back. GRRM likes to kill people off but jesus you can't kill every single person..there has to be some untouchable characters at least for a while. This to me is Martin and the "g.o.t" big wigs using their own reputation to troll their fans. Of course we were all mad and surprised. .but guess what, I ain't falling for it.
